Before you ignore everyones advice at least learn to make straight lift hills, cause the sownload sure didnt have one. Also, the train valleyed and the pacing was not good at all. In other words slow down and take everyones advice. -

[RCT3] American Adventures

This looks pretty good, although I hope the park gets a new major attraction soon just to raise park attendance. Awesome job though, I will be following this park more closely. -

Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread
the ghost replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Am I the only one wondering why they even gave the ride a storyline? I do not see anything about moonshine or anything like that in the ride so far, and there is quite a bit done. In the tunnel with the turn will there be animatronics or something like that to enhance the story element? As of now this just looks like a water ride through some rocky canyons and not a ride about feuding moonshiners. Dont get me wrong, the ride looks nice so far, but Cedar Fair has been known to skimp out on the scenery quite often. Remember, concept art lies 99% of the time, even Terminator looked like it was above a well landscaped field in the concept art as opposed to over the regular ground of Six Flags. I am hoping there will be some kind of theming in the que at least to tell the story or something along those lines. -
Photo TR: Spring Break Knor Style 2010!

That was a great TR, and now Casey officially has more credits than me... in my home state. I need to take a California Tour like the Bebes so I can get all my Caliornia credits. I only just got the 'Sierra Sidewinder credit this summer, and its 20/25 minutes from my house. I need to get more credits. -
It always sucks when a prominant roller coaster designer dies. It is kind of freaky to think of how old some of the roller coaster designers are. Ron Toomer will be eighty yeas old next month and I dont know how old Walter and Claude are, but all of these people will he HUGE deals. I hope to get a ride on a Hopkins coaster at some point, he was a classic and great designe.

Worlds of Color makes Illuminations its b****. Wow! Just when I was starting to agree with some haters Disney proved me wrong and is possibly creating the best night time show I have ever seen. I skipped through it a bit as I dont want every surprise ruined when I see it live, but for everyone complaining about a lack of fire... you have no more to complain about. Wow, that was aweesome, it also now makes sense why they need to close the pier, those fountains were huge, at night that will be the coldest place ever to walk around in. Wow, Disney makes another winning attraction. Fantasmic Killer, and thats saying quite a bit cause I am a HUGE fan of Fantasmic.

It looks nice so far... good work. -
^^ Kind of agree. Also, I love Ellen, shes just so likeable, and it actually made me laugh out loud when she pulled out the butterbeer flask. Also, I wish we could have seen the effects on Flight of the Hippogriff, does anyone know if they are going to implement the bowing yet? I personally think it would be kind of silly, but it would add to the experience.

Yeah, I am not gonna pay one hundred dollars a day for a fake mars experience. I am very confused also, becasue the article says A New Port Richey company hopes to create a simulated trip to Mars that everyone will know is fake but will appear as realistic as possible. "This is not Disney World or Universal Studios," Is that implying that it will not be on par with Disney or Universal? Cause for 3500 dollars for a few days(OMG, crazy) I could stay at all star movies in a room with one other person and pay like 40 dollars a night and have free bus service to all the parks. This wont work.

Intimidator 305 Media Day Complete Coverage - Kings Dominion
the ghost replied to cfc's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Agreed. I was watching Iron Chef a few days ago and someone made this(it was a rerun). The judges didnt want to eat it cause it was so awesome looking, but they had to. If I somehow ever make this it is going onto a refrigerated shelf so everyone can admire it. Anyway, this TR is awesome, and I really wanna get myself on an Intamin hyper one of these days. I'm with Elissa, or at least I am if I remember you saying you dont like Bobby Flay. Morimoto FTW. Also, This must have been heartbreaking for morimoto to watch others eat this. -
The best part of Mystery Lodge was at Haunt '07 when it was 13 Murder Manor. And that wasn't all that great. FIXED! I would much rather have scares than theming, and I didnt go to Murder Manor in 2008, but the maze was good in 2007. Terror of London is where knotts failed most in my opinion. The maze was (almost) HHN quality, but the maze was empty, I got like one scare, and the maze is huge.

The good part of SFMM is I say the best rides are Tatsu, Terminator, and Riddler while at Cedar Point those are pretty much everyones big 3. I am, however, in the minority for not putting X2 in my top 3 in the park, and I love the ride individually, but at WCB after one ride my shoulder ached for a few hours after riding, Riddlers does not have that effect on me at all. I know quite a few who may put something like Goliath and Terminator in the list and remove Tatsu, and also, now that I think about it I like Batman better than Goliath because of the intensity and no trim break of death. My point bein that at CP the 3 you listed are essentially everyones favorites with little to no room for variation, SFMM has room for variation for a favorite ride, so I think the collection is better.
