That's it, I have lost faith in humanity

This thread may inspire me to name my future child Gaylord Focker. Seriously, America sucks. -
Best B&M Standup
the ghost replied to pkdcoaster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Riddler's is my number 1. It kicks all ass, especially in the back seat. -
A few pieces of advice. Overall the park is quite good, but a little land raising and lowering would go very nicely with the rest of everything. Also, I HIGHLY recommend trying to build with the in game scenery. You are using it, which is good, but I would suggest creating some custom buildings with in game scenery. Keep it up though, it is nice so far and it looks like you are having fun.

[RCT2] Seaworld: Adventure Bay
the ghost replied to DBru's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Belgianguy, you are awesome. That building with the wooden coaster roof is phenomenal. Also, you are now one of the few TPR members who can boast an accolade. Keep this up but so far it is amazing. Also, are you planning on using the same flyer you released to NE? Cause if so that thing was great! -
Custom Roller Coasters [RCT2]
the ghost replied to Montuman99's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
If you've got something to show and the ride is good it can have its own topic. There have been parks here, specifically Nins(I believe) B&M hyper coaster that is soely a coaster, yet has received a lot of support here, even tough it is still unfinished. There are times when you can play for fun and not post, like when I try to play campaigns my parks generally suck, but I dont post them here. Not saying this sucks, but just saying not everything's worth posting. -
Your favorite coaster tunnel
the ghost replied to chavslayer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Matterhorn. It uses the tunnels extremely effectively, and your first rides on that thing can actually be somewhat scary because in-experienced riders do not know where the yeti will be. Also, I love how because of the tunnels you never quite know where you will emerge back into the light, so occasionally when you pop out of a tunnel you will suddenly race with the car next to you. It also makes Matterhorn my favorite night ride. Honorary Mentions Terminator Salvation:The Ride Goliath(SFMM) Big Thunder Mountain Disneyland -
Best and Worst Log Flumes
the ghost replied to gldude's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
IMO Splash Mountain Disneyland is the best log ride in the world. The theming and story telling is absolutely incredible, and the animatronics are better than Dudley, which makes it a better ride IMO. Also, I have gotten drenched riding it. The attention to detail on the mountain also set it slightly apart from Dudley because it fits so well in the area, and Dudley's just not as impressive looking. The drops are about the same IMO, just in a different order, and both rides are totally awesome. In fact, Dudley may even be slightly more fun because of the story and stuff, but I just really enjoy splash mountain. WDW's comes in third cause it felt more like a style of flume ride than the classic log flume feel. I also like the SFMM log jammer, and I really like Timber Mountain log ride, although I wish some of the animatronics were slightly refurbished, but for how old it is the ride is AWESOME! My least favorite is the portable fair ones. -
Why Do I Get Sick On...
the ghost replied to Canobie Coaster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I think you get sick on swinging ships because they move slower. For example, my friend cant ride swinging ships either, but he can ride Frisbees because he can barely tell we are swinging because you cant really see the swinging motion unless you specifically look for it. Swinging ships make me sick after a while because I can see myself swinging, and because you swing slowly your brain is fully aware whats happening. -
I rode Colossus at WCB in April and it was running fine. There was a some airtime, and, although it is a rarity, they ran both sides for nightime ERT. That being said, I was in pretty much the best mood ever because we had ERT on EVERY ride in the park, so that may have been part of what made the ride so good.

Best Drop Ride!!!
the ghost replied to coaster_shorty's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Tower of Terror Florida and Tower of Terror DCA are tied for me. The florida ride was better, but the Cali drop cycle was more intense than any of the variations I got on Floridas, and I rode Florida's 5 to 6 times. I also love the ARM tower at the OC fair each year, its not very tall, but its much more intense than something like supreme scream as it literally feels like you are being launched down. Also, I've never ridden Dr.Doom because it had like a 15 minute express pass wait and like a 90 minute normal wait, but it looked pretty standard, doed it do anything special to justify such a long line? -
This sounds kind of weird to ask, but will the characters stay to character? Mickey and Minnie have always been nice, but Donald's got a little temper, Goofy's goofy. I dont expect the character now to have character cause they are just masks, but I dont want a Donald being like "I love you" I want a donald true to the Quack Attack and the originals. While I admit this is awesome I kind of think it will bring the end of the personalities we have all come to enjoy that are slowly dying. Also, if this does happen is there any chance Chip and Dale will be rescue rangers? That was the only time I remember them talking, and that show was AMAZING! The Anyone else LOVE that show Ghost

Fox NEWS!!! ITS NOT EVEN REAL NEWS!!! My dad watches O'reilly and Hannity every night when I can just tell my dad what theyre gonna say. He pretty much wants people to reassure him Obama sucks and Busch was good, but when I tell him its the other way around I get in trouble.

Erik & Smisty's Florida Oddventures
the ghost replied to Electerik's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Awesome TR! Honestly Manta's que was one of the things I was escited about since the press release, and I have not seen much until now. If you want a good Odventure I suggest Animal Kingdoms Dinosaur area/Dino rama, it was soooo random. Chester and Lester were a failure on Disneys part(thats saying a lot...I'm a disney fanboy) and I think your captions would be really funny. -

My old project [RCT2]
the ghost replied to Fooz's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
^ I dont think there are even rides, this might be just a REALLY well themed micro scenario, which on NE simply means a really elaborate, small area. -
Is this at Mickey's House right now? If so I'm gonna check this out next time I'm at the park. Also, anyone wanna meet up on June 14th for a Disneyland/DCA trip and first weekday viewing of WOC? This might be added to the list of stuff to do just cause I want to actually see it, but I can see this being awesome for most kids and it will make characters seem more real. I am very impressed. Of course, Disney has always had costume characters down, I dont see huge lines for the peanuts, the looney toons, but if you go to princess fantasy fair near toontown(ive never actually been, so I'm not sure I'm right, but I think its a themed meet and greet) the lines are like an our long.

What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?
the ghost replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Ouch! -
Wow... ewww, ovaltine and bacon, both good in their correct forms, both not good without theur correct forms. I havent actually done thins, but in class I was thinking of the worlds best sandwitch, and then a brilliant thought came to me. Two pieces of French toast with nutella in the middle, and bacon can be added to the nutella if desired... it sounds so awesome, yet it might kill me, but that may become a guilty pleasure. I guess my guilty pleasure is coming up with awesome things in clas, like the nutella/bacon sandwich.

^ Yeah, but Electric Daisy Carnival is notorious for LSD. Not saying I would ever try anything like that, but it is notorious for it, and also if I were going with my friends... well lets just say they are kind of druggies, and they donr tend to bring out the best in me, at least not in a concert type setting.
-
^^ Lucky, I really enjot Deadmau5, but I dont thing my parents would let me go to a rave. Streetlight is actually becoming more likely than mayhem just cause Mayhem is a heavy metal concert thats kind of farish(an hour) and I've never driven to a concert before.
