  1. Thanks everyone. A new option opened up which were going to end up taking. We are going to be at the park by noon on Friday, June 18th. Around here(in my district at least) people still have school on that friday, but there is just a senior breakfast that day, so we are going right after. Also, the following week is finals for everyone around besides seniors. We may try to see WOC if they are using the ticket thing but if not no biggie. Im generally pretty lucky in terms of crowds, and as long as we get semi lucky with fastpasses and all she really needs to do at California Adventure is Mania(the only non fastpass) Screamin, Soarin, and TOT and Grizzly depending on weather. Otherwise we'll be good crowd wise. Wish me luck though, if all goes well I will work either in food services or in hotels at DLR becasue attractions positions were full. I got an online interview, which means they are semi interested, and in 72 hours I get to set up a real interview.
  2. ^ I agree. I actually thought tonights episode was REALLY good besides the poker face cover. I found it really funny that that was the song she chose to sing with her mother, but the rest was really good. The vampire bit was funny enough, and all the songs besides poker face were fun, similar to how they were in sub season 1.
  3. All right, I need some advice. I am goping to Disneyland/DCA on either June 6th or June 13th. I am going with a bunch of friends, one who has not been to Disneyland for five years and who has never been to DCA. If they are using the WOC ticketing system officially then we will probably go on the thirteenth. If they do not use the ticketing the system I am not sure I can justify waiting in line all day when one of the people going has an entire park to cover as well as a bunch of stuff Disneyland which she has not done in five years... also shes never even been on Space Mtn. so I'm assuming she has only ever been a few times. What should I do? Should I pray for the ticketing system and rush into DCA on the 13th, a mere 48 hours after opening with the knowledge that if it was crowded I probably couldnt see the show, and it will likely be more crowded due to the recent opening of the show? Or should I play it safe and go on the 6th and have no chance of seeing WOC, but have shorter waits?
  4. I dont know if the GP are even smart enough to even think about the Harry Potter theme park thing thing. My friends all call DCA Disneyland, and even if we go to DCA they will say we went to Disneyland, just cause they are in ther same area. Also, I dont know if people, unless they are REALLY into this, are going to pay enough attention to the aspect that the area is advertised as a new park.
  5. ^ Congrats. I have grown up speaking English, but my friend from Korea told me that when he first moved here english was a ***** to learn. ^^Also, you guys all get out soooooo early.
  6. Ummm... I dont get it.
  7. Last year there was a thread for the class of 2009, which had their graduation plans and where they were going and stuff like that, so I say lets not be forgotten. It seems we graduate really late in California, but I figure since everyon else is out early we may as well start. Post grad pics, high school stuff, that kind of stuff as well as plans and stuff like that. I am graduating from Northwood Highschool on June 22 College: Irvine Valley College with plans to transfer to Cal Poly Pamona after two years of JC, cause I cant afford a dorm and stuff like that yet. Also, I can still look for a local job. Major: Not declared yet, but probably english/speech. Summer Plans: San Diego Trip with family, I was going to go to Mexico, but that got shot down pretty quickly.
  8. CLASS OF 2010 REPRESENT! Seriously though, congratulations on graduating, I am really looking forward to graduation in like three weeks, cause California sucks. Your grad night looked fun, but rain sucks.
  9. If you read this go in chat now. Its nightcrew time!
  10. There is a member at my school and my friends younger brother is a member. TPR is like a cult, there are members all around, yet you will never know who they are. This is a very good TR of a park I will hopefully hit sometime in the next couple years if my California take over trip ever happens.
  11. Thank you, sir! And if 50 means that much to you (mine was Medusa up in Nor Cal!!!), just find a family entertainment center with a coaster! There's bound to be one near you! The only family fun center near me is Boomers, it also has NO KIDDIE COASTER. It sucks, I'm not much of a whore, but I have never had a "true" mile stone before, and I dont count in order(I'm going off of coasterfanatics) so I really want a 50th coaster... Oh well, at least I'm only 18, plenty of riding time left to do over the years. The Irvine Sucks Ghost
  12. When Screamin first opened it gave ejector airime throughout the course and was an INSANE coaster. It now gives one or two moments of okay air after the launch in the front and the drop after the loop on in the back, but the bunnys were ruined. Those used to be a major highlight of the ride, but now they are kind of just there. I understand it is a family ride however, so it made some sense cause that thing was INTESNSE, but as an enthusiast I hate them. Vipers are okay cause of hang time. Thats why I love GCIs(never ridden a TGG) they have little to no trims on like nay of there rides, Terminator hauls ass pretty much throughout, and the pacing is absolutely incredible.
  13. Nightcrew FTW!
  14. ^ AMEN!
  15. Dont forget the TPR streetlight take over!
  16. I'm also 18, so it makes sense for me to make the muppet vision connection, mainly cause I dont know who the Mills Brothers are.
  17. Congrats on 60! I am doing a San Diego trip, but my mom said we can go to Belmont and Sea World... meaning I will get to 49 credits! I will be flipping out on such a border line mile stone, but Mr. Six will probably be 50th at Bash next year. Anyway, this TR is filled with liquied epicocity!
  18. Does anyone see them taking out Monte? That would suck, cause honestly, Monte is my second favorite ride in the park after accelerator! It makes me nervouse when a REALLY old ride goes down, especially considering a lot of the old knotts classic rides have been taken out. Even KOD, which was an awesome flat ride, If CF takes Monte I will be CRAZY pissed.
  19. I forsee a GCI coming to Cedar Point at some time. They are almost unanimously enjoyed, yet they are a family coaster. Also, from what I understand they are reliable and do not seem to get really rough, besides Gwazi, so a coaster like that could be good for a park with one REALLY bad woodie, and one old woodie that everyone seems to like. Also, as stated before, thay are very family friendly.
  20. Thats awesome! If I was a member(working on that part) and lived in Europe I would be down for this. Efteling looks awesome, and those 2 rides are looking/look great! It is awesome there are so many club TPR dates considering the club started so recently.
  21. Colosus-SFMM. Its not a great airtime woodie, but theres some floater air in the back car, and its not that rough, especially cause its old. It is a classic. Also, Terminator may be under rated, but then again I've never been on a good wooden coaster before terminator, so that may be why I rate it so highly.
  22. Dream on and Piano Man were both amazing. I also loved the episode in general, it is so much better now that they are focusing on more characters than Rachel and Fin. Also, who INSTANTLY recognized the final song which Artie sang as the song Miss Piggy sings in muppet vision 3d? Still a great show!
