  1. ^^Stampida's new trains appear to be Intamin, but Kumbak also sounds like the possible new builder. This was my most anticipated park on the trip, and the park really does look amazing. Furious Baco looks like an amazing ride like you said, but its roughness was apparent in the POV. Well it looks like you are all having a good time, and hopefully you have fun during the next few days at this park.(well hopefully you have fun on your entire trip)
  2. El Toro taken a few weeks ago: I would have waited for a train in the second photo, but I wanted to ride, and my camera wasn't ready when it went by the first time.
  3. I remember seeing B&M track in 2005. I was in Misery...I mean Missouri and it was on the highway going from St. Louis to Six Flags. It was in the fall, so it is possible that this was the track for Tatsu.
  4. This park looks incredible, and the amount of detail you are putting into it is simply amazing. While still a "small" park, it has a ride lineup of a major park, and more amazing rides are being added. Heart Breaker is one of the best impulse coasters I've seen built in RCT3 or 2, and I'm interested in seeing what will be added next.
  5. Wow, this coaster looks amazing, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. The theming and landscaping around the ride is done really well. This is probably one of the most photogenic newer wooden coasters, and all the photos of this I've seen are amazing. I'm interested in seeing what Robb and Elissa have to say about it as they were happy with Renegade, and they seem even more excited to ride this.
  6. Awesome TR, and I was wondering what the stores would look like after I saw the story on CNN. This is probably one of the best marketing deals in a while, and congratulations to whoever came up with it. All the Simpson items in the store are great additions, and this completely exceeded my expectations. I only expected the Kwik-E-Mart sign to cover the 7-11 one, but they did everything.
  7. ^Like membership to ACE or coasterbuzz? Hey look at that, I found a use for the ACEer emotiocons.
  8. What band members do in their spare time:
  9. I'm a theme park fan, and while I love coasters, I try to take my time and enjoy the park whenever I visit one. Theming and the whole park experience are what matter to me.
  10. I really don't get these rides, however they do look like good family attractions. While this one doesn't deem as well themed as other splash battles, it is still better than just placing this ride in some water. Flamingoland looks like a decent park, and with the attractions over the last few years, it seems to be gaining a good reputation.
  11. ^At Timber Falls, They'll run the train with just one person on it, and they'll give free rides too. Hopefully this park does the same as it seems too small to have a minimum riders policy. This coaster is really starting to look good, and hopefully they Kemah gets it open soon. When I was checking the most recent update, the coaster appeared to have some of the best drops and turns on a wooden coaster. I think this could be Gravity Groups best coaster, and while it is a big ride, it isn't massive like Hades or Voyage.
  12. 1. Build a bigger castle 2. Build a replica of the Cyclone Racer at DCA 3. Demolish the Tiki Room 4. Bring back People Mover 5. Replace Pirate's Island with a water play area(similar to Boardwalk at HP) 6. Build a new one-of-a kind attraction 7. Lower ticket prices 8. Refurb Big Thunder Mountain 9.Refurb Indiana Jones 10. Build a large Vekoma Motorbike Coaster 11. Build what's planned except for Toy Story Mania
  13. I know, well the world will look like Alaska(which is still nice), and remember, burn fossil fuels. If it's on Wikipedia, then it must be true.
  14. Great TR and this was probably the best so far.(well, there have only been 3) This park looks like a really good small park, and seems comparable to Farup or some of the other small parks in Europe you've been to.(with the exception of Drayton Manor) Ramses looked like a really tame ride, but the video and your comments made it seem like a really fun ride.
  15. I heard that the fear now is global cooling. Unless we act now, the planet will turn into a giant ice ball, and the whole world will look like Canada. The only way to prevent this is to burn massive amounts of fossil fuels, and everyone is encouraged to get rid of their hybrid cars in exchange for big SUVs.
  16. My home park is SFGAM, and while not my favorite, it is a really good park. The park has a great selection of rides, the staff is great, the food is decent, and the park is always clean. The only bad thing about it, is that it is always crowded due to it being the only major park in the area.
  17. My new list: 1. El Toro-The airtime is simply amazing, and it is even better right before the park closes when it is completely dark out 2. Avalanche-This is an awesome compact wooden coaster, and there are never any lines 3. Chang-An awesome stand-up with some great elements 4. Nitro-Another great B&M with good airtime on all the hills 5. Kingda Ka-The launch on this coaster is amazing, but it is way too short of a ride.(I only like it this much because there was no wait when I went) 6. Viper-A great wooden coaster, and every hill has great airtime 7. Cyclone(Lakeside)-an excellent wooden coaster, and the first drop has some of the best airtime on any of the coasters I've ridden. 8. Raging Bull-A decent hyper, but there isn't much air time due to trim brakes. 9. Deja vu- This is a great inverted coasters, and it is one of the few coasters that still scares me. 10 T2-I actually like this coaster even though many hate it. When I rode it, it was my first (and only still) SLC, it had some good elements, and it was smooth.
  18. Okay, that takes it too far. There are plenty of parks with way dumber guests than that. If there was an award for that, it would go to Adventureland IA for sure (because it ISN'T in Ohio - those poor AT voters don't want their state to look bad!). Note the sarcasm. I know there are parks with dumber guests, but you don't here about a guy falling off a car every day. I'll admit I went a little too far, but then again, there is only one park I've been to with what I consider dumb guests, so I don't have anything to compare too. Also note how I said Amusement Today would give them that award, as everything in Ohio seems to be the best to them.(with a few exceptions) Airtime-I'm surprised this hasn't been on CNN-&Gravity
  19. The sky is falling! The sky is falling!
  20. Well, it figures that it would be in Ohio... Well, you can't get much dumber than that, and if there was a " Park with the dumbest guests award" given by Amusement Today, then KI would win. (again, because it's Ohio) As the subtitle says, idiocracy was at it's best, and this being America, there will now be a lawsuit.
  21. Great TR so far, and Parc Madrid looks to have improved a lot since your last visit. Both parks look great, and the X-car video is one of the best I've seen in a while.
  22. ^^^When I drove by the park, I was shocked that they painted it that way. Iron Wolf is a close second(of the coasters I've seen), and the entire ride looks like it's covered in rust.
  23. If it isn't the old free fall tower, then the only other possible thing it could be is the old Viper shuttle loop.(now Greezed Lightning at SFKK)
  24. My list is really really small. However, I've ridden many coasters(Avalanche, Kingda Ka, El Toro, Ragin Cajun, S:UF, and Half Pipe) within two years of opening. 2005: Hades 2007: Tony Hawk's Big Spin (coming soon) I'm sure I have more from way back when, but I don't remember.
