Särkänniemi Amusement Park

SFGAM is always packed on Saturday, but the water park is a big people eater, so it could have been worse. It's kind of pointless to hate a park because it was crowded, on Saturday of all days and SFGAM of all parks, but you have to deal with it. You also have to remember that SFGAM is the only park in the Chicago-Milwaukee area, so it covers a large metropolitan area.

Nice concept, but a very unrealistic coaster. The first half was way to fast, and the second half was way too slow. Plus, like wrebbit said, motorbike coasters will never have inversions.

Why is it that with the exception of Boomerang at Darien Lake, that all of the Vekoma's I've ridden have been smooth??

Wow, that is one of the worst ways to die at a park. Truly a sad accident, but I'm amazed that it went unknown for three weeks.

Is it just me, or is it sad(well more of pathetic) that we will never see a park like Toverland in America? It looks like a great park, and the TPR TR's are always positive about it, and I can easily see why Elissa likes it so much. While I wouldn't call it an amusement park,(place with good coasters, weird flats, and areas of death does better ) it looks like an incredibly fun place. I wish there were places like this in America,, but you would have a bunch of kids being, let's see how many people can be on the triangle at once, and you know the rest. The video was great, and Troy looks like the best GCI yet. It is one of the most twisted layouts on a coaster I've seen in a while, and the train seems to fly through most of them.

Wait, I thought Blackstone just acquired it(changed it to Merlin Entertainment), and Blackstone is now selling the park again. Airtime-stupid RCPro(where I got the story) for being late on news...just like ACE-&Gravity

Well since it has been several updates since I last posted, I will start by saying great videos and photos. Toverland looks like a great park, and it is amazing how Toverland(and Power Park) have grown over the few years since opening. It is strange to see the attractions at this park(and most European parks), because if in America, the parks would get sued because some ten year old did something stupid.(or he got a minor scrape)

Wow, at least there was little damage, and this brings back memories when Cedar Point got hit in the sixties.(Frontierland got hit pretty hard) Well, I'm just happy that the park didn't get any severe damage, and that no one was hurt.

Kristen is not even one, and she already has more parks than me. I might visit a few more parks this year, but I take pride in only visiting a few parks a year. I feel like I actually have a "life".

Airplane Coaster

SFGAM SFGADV SFSTL Darien Lake wow, pathetic... I'll probably try to get to a few more though.

The last coaster I rode was the Batman clone that's not a clone at SFSTL.(well okay, it's still a clone) It was the second roughest B&M I've ridden, and it wasn't as intense as SFGAM's. However, there was no line, it was still a great ride, and it is still better than most coasters.
