  1. Yeah...it's the only good thing in Florida Have you been to any of the first three SF parks?(SFoT, SFoG, SFSTL)
  2. No white Arrow coasters(going by photos from rcdb) have been in Ontario, so I don't get the title. I found Kamikaze (aka Ninja at SFoG) at Dinosaur Beach as a close match though. Edit: If it's a boomerang, then the only coaster I found was Bat at Canada's Wonderland, but it wasn't white according to rcdb. However, it did say that it was built by Arrow.
  3. Shooting stars and old school whips are my favorites, but I like most Huss rides too.
  4. Just what I was thinking. While it is sad, how stupid can you be?! Seriously, what made the person think it was a good idea to cross the station while the ride was in motion? This is something I'd expect in America , and hearing an accident with this much stupidity in another country(let alone Finland) is kind of strange.
  5. ^back home...but not for long (I respect what you do though) V Thinks SFGAM is the better park
  6. Wow, I totally forgot about this park, but it wasn't exactly what I'd call a park. While Riverview, Old Chicago(okay, OC wasn't successful, but it was the first attempt to build a major indoor park) , Adventureland, Satan's Village, and the 500 kiddie parks that were successful but eventually closed, Shireland didn't have any rides to my knowledge. There was a hiking attraction, but the whole "park" was more of a permanent renaissance fair. If I remember correctly, Santa's Village was looking to move out there, but they obviously didn't.
  7. I actually hope this goes through, and I hope Blackstone acquires CF as they could do some amazing things with the parks.(they also own Tussuads and Legoland) Maybe more attention will be placed on theming, quality, food, and atmosphere instead of $21 million on a "family" coaster. I'm not saying coasters shouldn't be added, but a real family, and actually noteworthy coasters can be added instead of just having a coaster to break a record. As for GL's future, I believe that it will change within a few years, and rides will soon be added to the ride park. Who knows, maybe a coaster will be added by 2010, but they need something big since CF screwed the park up.
  8. Wow, that was really excessive, and the park has no proof to back up the claim. I have a question(well two), and it is how old are the kid and the women? This incident has been taken so far, and I have to question the validity of the witness statements.
  9. Now I may be an idiot, but there is one thing I am not, and that is an idiot.
  10. I can't say anything for Gauntlet, but since I like SLCs, ride it. However, I've ridden Big Bad John's twin at SFSTL. All I can say is that River King(Big Bad John was originally a racing coaster) sucks, and you will break several ribs when you ride it. I can only imagine it with the stand up trains...
  11. 6Yeah, Deja vu has been running since June, but only about 1/2 the queue is used. Great photos, but crowds look a little heavy. I went Sunday, and even though it was 95, it was still crowded(luckily everyone was at HH, or inline for the water rides, S:UF, or Deja vu), but I was able to get a lot of rides in. The overview shots you got were amazing, and some of the locations you took your photos at were unknown to me.
  12. I've actually never had to use it because I haven't been to a park when it was necessary to use it. It really depends on how long you will be at a park and what you want to ride. If you are there for a short time, then get gold, but if it is a day long trip, just stick with regular.
  13. Regular q-bot saves your place in line, so if a wait is say an hour, you come back in 45 minutes to ride. Q-bot gold, while costing $300 more(well maybe not that much), advances you to the q-bot entrance without having to wait the 45 minutes.
  14. Might just be me, but I'm predicting a water park. The park looks great so far, and the atmosphere in the park seems pretty good. The Memphis references and the many family rides give this park a local park with some major rides.
  15. Wow, Tibidabo is a really messed up park, and while not run down, it didn't look that safe. The two "rides on a stick" look like they could send their riders to their deaths at any moment, but good job to the park for coming up with the concept. The location for the park is amazing, and the parks ability to place rides that close to one another on that type of terrain is kind of amazing.
  16. If it's on FOX news, then it must be fact and unbiased.
  17. Great pictures, and they brought back memories of my trip. I really liked Lakeside, it's my #3 park, and I loved the Cyclone. It is also probably the cheapest park I've been to in a while, and it was a great way to spend a night.
  18. sadly Have you been to over 25 states?
