  1. Everyone run for your lives! This is not a drill, TPR is under a SPAM attack, and everyone is asked to remain calm...well running for your lives is not remaining calm, but that's not the point.
  2. ^Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that project now Wild Escape in West Virginia. I thought the Nebraska park was dead, and the developers went out to West Virginia. This looks like one of those Miller coasters, and hopefully, while being a family coaster, it is a coaster that would make an enthusiast make a stop to ride.
  3. Front row of Viper earlier today: What was even better was that there was no wait, and it is the smoothest it has been all season.
  4. Sorry, this made me laugh because while it should be true, for some reason it isn't in America. Hopefully society will stop acting so immature, and Americans won't act like idiots.
  5. Great photos and video, and they were definitely worth the wait. As for the park, it looks really amazing, and its former ownership really shows. Furious Baco looks like a disappointment, and it was not what I expected out of it. Hopefully more wing walker coasters open, but hopefully Intamin can solve the roughness problem.(
  6. So many classic parks to choose from: 1967 Riverview-so many great rides lost forever(exception of carousel now at SFOG) Rye Playland to ride Aero 1930's Coney Island(Luna Park, Steeple Chase, and many classic stand alone coasters) Idora Park-just another classic park Palisades Park-another classic park that I wish I coul visit
  7. Wow, I got a 7/10, and I guessed on all but about 4 of the questions.
  8. ^lol Wait, I thought they were going to build a 500ft tall, 12 inversion PAX coaster. Well I have heard of a dark ride going to Dollywood, and hopefully they can give it a cool concept and theme instead of just the typical shoot the ghosts.
  9. ^That would be cool, but Mt. Olympus is fairly cheap when it comes to theming, landscaping, etc. Airtime-Mt. Olympus makes CF parks look great when it comes to theming and landscaping-&Gravity
  10. Wow, so how long until a kid drowns in this pool? I'm giving it to the end of the month, but hopefully parents are smart enough to not have kids that far into the pool. This pool is impressive, but why not expand the old wave pool instead of building a whole new one, but hopefully they replace the old wave pool with a new water ride(tornado, large tube slide, etc) since it will probably get few swimmers now.
  11. Extended warranty, how can I lose?
  12. Very nice, but too bad it isn't real Oh yeah, a name, how about: Ripsaw-theme it to an old lumber mill Adrenaline -science experiment gone awry Pheonix-theming similar to Sheikra(African village)
  13. 1. Well I have a season pass, but SFSTL and SFKK were both cheap(for SF), and they were both worth admission 2. SFSTL has a great atmosphere, and its heavily wooded location, plus all of the random theming around makes it a great park. 3. SFGADV easily, and with an amazing wooden coaster, 3 great B&Ms(1 not so good one), the world's tallest coaster, a twin LIM coaster, and three family coasters, SFGADV is hard to beat. 4. SFGADV has the best, but SFGAM comes in second, and SFSTL a close third. 5. Easily SFGAM with its three kiddie lands, but most of the rides are family friendly. 6. SFGAM just because of its close proximity to Chicago,(I would have said SFGADV, but New York sucks) and there is so much to do such as Lincoln Park zoo, Brookfield Zoo, Chicago lake front, and plenty of pro sports teams.
  14. Although I didn't have a problem, I am pleased that they are reverting back to the original dome. I actually thought the arm was just for 2000, but when Disney kept it, I grew used to it, but it's obvious some Disney patrons really disliked it.
  15. Great TR Jahan, and many of the night photos were great. Batman looks like one of the better ones, but too bad the ride ops didn't know what they were doing.
  16. I would guess heat exhaustion played a role in this, but this is just a sad story. This is the worst year I can remember for accidents, well last year was really bad too, and every week there seems to be a fatal accident.
  17. Article Seriously, how often is a four person raft sent down a slide with 4 people, and how did the physics change? Screamscape also mentioned that the mother complained about the kids not being secure, but where the hell are the restraints on a raft!? Airtime-Seatbelt on the rafts now-&Gravity
  18. Post 582, well okay that isn't that high for this site, but I'm the 148 highest poster.
  19. No Have you ridden a pre-1950 roller coaster?
  20. ^Likes Steel Dragon <#1 park is SFGADV V Has been to more than 5 SF parks
  21. Screamin Eagle at SFSTL is my #1 out-and-back coaster, but American Eagle has been running great this year, so rankings might change depending on how good Screamin Eagle is on my next visit.
  22. Just ride it, because it looks a lot worse than it really is. The launch isn't really that bad, and the view is one of the best a coaster can offer. The launch is incredibly fun, and the top hat is a great element. The only scary part is the final few seconds before launch, and that is only scary the first time.
