What about Park opening/closing days, coaster openings (scheduled) and such? IMO it seems like the calendar would just be really empty now and a waste of space on the page. I thought it was fine as long as the events were above the B-days. But whatever, its your site JEFF

Very Cool pics from the lake, Just isn't the same with Herc not there, used to be such an awesome photo spot with that hill and turn dominating the picture. Hydra just doesnt have the same impact from that view. I am still bummed they did not use that hillside for a similar drop on Hydra like Hercules had. JEFF

Well, I was invited to join up with my buddys Chris, Erin and Rob for Labor day at PKD and thought it would be good to take my son too. Turns out my whole family was not doing anything either and they all wanted to come. Sadly my wife could not come since her Gynnosaurus told her to take it easy since Aidan (first kid) was born really early. So she got a R&R day. Well CF gave us a great Value as far as a 2007 Season Pass. Regular PKD only pass-$65 Cedar fair MAXX pass-$90 with free parking if you are renewing (SWEET!) Really good value considering regular pass this year was $100! My family (Mom,Dad, Sis) Do not go to parks too often now since I turned 16 but they go every once in a blue moon. My Sis remembers how I always used to be about getting there right at opening and running or "power" walking to all the rides. How naive of her to think I grew out of that We ran to Volcano along with everybody else. I took my secret shortcut but was caught by the security guard leading "the herd" at the last second. We could have been on the 2nd train but opted for the front row (6 train wait) Great as always. We met with my parents who took my son (Aidan) on every kiddie ride that was open and he had a blast, he is really starting to love KD alot We met my buds at lunch time at Chick fil a and next was the coveted credit in the park TAXI JAM!!! So I pimped out my son so they could get their kiddie coaster credit We rode Scooby's haunted mansion which is always a great family ride that EVERYONE can ride. Flight of Fear was down all day major Bummer We rode TR, IJ, DZ and Grizzly and everybody liked the "new" rides alot. Me and my Fam left at 3pm as the rain started to fall but Chris and Rob stayed longer so he can probably finish the Photo's TR off. We all had a great time the weather was nice and the crowds were pretty light for Labor Day. Well it is sad esp. for his kids but like many said Stingrays are not dangerous animals in the least. So it is very shocking that that is how he died considering all the "extremely dangerous" animals he encounters everyday. kind of like a stuntman falling down the stairs at his home and dying. JEFF

You are very lucky, I love Pinball very much!, such a shame they had it so good in the 80's & 90's now only Stern is left making them (about 2 a year) Vpinmame is THE best freeware program out there. It is great to see these pins somewhat preserved. JEFF

The footage on the Americas greastest is stupid...just shows the structure rotting away. I have an old coaster show (National Geographic) with alot of footage of the Arrow Pipeline running as well as a POV. I will try to get something together for you guys shortly. JEFF

Hopefully that means we can see a family coaster at BGE in 2008. (something along the lines of the shamu coaster in sea world) They really need some more rides the whole family can do together. Esp. since they removed the maus. I wonder if the old DF site is gonna be used for this sesame st. area? I appreciate the new kids areas much more now that I have kids. JEFF

MASS HYSTERIA!!!!!!! I love that movie yea, CSX shut down the railroad and Amtrak cancelled like all long haul trains on the east coast so looks like I have the weekend off JEFF

I was there Friday morning (8-25-06) from 10:30-1 BUT I would not be surprised at all if the woodies had a train yanked off as there was no line at all (we actually got a reride in the front row) Hercules- if you check out Robbs video from 2001 (I believe) http://www.themeparkreview.com/photos/clementon/clementon.htm You can see that the track and handrails are white but the structure is brown also see my pics on the first page, it looks the same. JEFF

I'm not convinced, it is easy enough to time empty trains and full trains and see for yourself. I think you are refering to the law of dropping 2 different weights. ex. if you drop a 20lb ball and a 5lb ball off a roof they fall at the same speed and would hit the ground at the same time. Coasters and inertia are a little different. JEFF

According to RCDB.com its last operating season was 2002, so that accident was not the direct cause of it. Seems like they just closed it for the hell of it JEFF

Track and handrails were white but the structure is Brown. you need to watch your video again Robb JEFF

I like them both. Probably the best example of 2 high G loops and 2 very forceless ones are on Anaconda at PKD, The first 2 loops are really fast and have high Gs then the Corkscrews are Really slow and you hang on them. JEFF

Yea, good catch, so it was half brown its last few years, thats weird to me. it was amazing how you would never know it was there unless you were looking for it. an all white coaster stands out against the trees and says ride me! I Wonder why they painted the structure brown. JEFF
