Intamin Rockets down?
pkdcoaster replied to pkdcoaster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I have not been there since Oct. 2001, so there are a couple new things I need to try out Main goal is El Toro but it would be nice to ride KK as well. I love the Grtadv video as well but it is just my footage, my buddy Chris did a fantastic editing job on it. If anybody goes this weekend (SFGAd) please update us on KK, thanks. JEFF -
Intamin Rockets down?
pkdcoaster replied to pkdcoaster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Looks like only the Mega Rockets were affected by "something" or maybe one big coincidence Thanks for everybodys input. I hope KK is open next week for credits sake (OK 128mph sounds like fun) JEFF -

Well IJ, FOF and Jokers Jinx are all open. I think it is just the SF Premier Shuttles that are down (Chiller & Freeze's) JEFF -
Well reports of TTD, KK and Xcelerator being closed this weekend. (any word on Storm Runner?) Did some kind of Major malfunction happen on one of them to cause most of them to be closed? anybody have any info? I hope KK is running next weekend. TIA, JEFF

OK E. My vote is for SC entrance. I also think the map is a little deceiving, I think the trek through the main midway, Under MF and through Frontiertown is alot longer than it appears on the map. JEFF Blue looks alot quicker to me -

6/10 ---Interesting questions JEFF -
Alpengeist & DF's track was kept in the Employee parking lot. (I assume this is where Griffon's will go too) Which is virtually impossible for the gp to see except from the very top of Alpengeists lift. Apollo's track was kept right there in the Germany Lot with no gates or anything. I took a few pics in 1998. That was one Nice thing about AC, it was right there by rt. 60 so construction pics were easy. I have only seen one construction pic of Alpengeist taken from a helicopter. JEFF Yo, help me put this in my truck Park right next to it!

Nice photos as usual. Less than 2 weeks til my visit. Was there a sign saying KK would be down ALL day? What time did El Toro open? TIA, JEFF -
You better pray it is open by May 12th! I am kinda disapointed how very slow construction is going. I remember BGW closing day in 1998 (Halloween) they had Apollo's Brake run, transfer, station, lift and most of the footers done. Scroll to bottom http://www.themeparkreview.com/photos/bgw/apollo.htm I am thinking Memorial day Weekend (but hoping ASAP) Hey Chuck, did you see any track or supports? JEFF

Robb or Elissa- is there anyway we can get those videos in a downloadable format (not streaming) I am kinda disapointed in the "offical" website- no CG video downloads Hydra's was much better- lets hope they update more by the end of the day. but I have a feeling that the "offical" vids are gonna be extra point uploads in the future. EDIT-found them nevermind Thanks, JEFF -

I am sure that is going to be a "block" in the safety system once the train clears that brake area the next train can be launched. JEFF -

IMO this thread should be locked after the announcement and a new "official" thread started. Too much BS in this thread. JEFF -
I can't wait till this thing is released. I love watching people be idiots on Ebay I am thinking $1500-$2000 come mid-December. Is anybody surprised at all by 400,000 in US. Come on, Free Advertising if there is high demand. This will help Wii and 360 out alot though, probably the 2nd kink (1st is price) in Sony's Ironfist over the industry. JEFF

I thought they already had a tilt-a-whirl? I seem to remember one back in 2000 The turkey themed car looks like a Breakdance car to me....that would be sweet. I love those things. JEFF -
Alright I found the footage from the old show as well as a POV of Arrow's Pipeline coaster prototype, they can be found here: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=28747 Enjoy, JEFF
