  1. New update from Keystone Thrills. I can't wait for it to progress even more. Just one more section and the main arch left. Some transfer track. And some station track.
  2. Just curious....why wouldn't you count those as 6 inversions each? I mean, I went upside down on them 6 times. Makes sense to me. I guess it's just preference to people, but I see it as different individual inversions that are physically built. And if you go upside-down multiple times from the same element, I characterize that along the same lines as multiple laps on a coaster. Montezooma's Revenge has one loop to me, just because you go around it twice doesn't mean it has 2 inversions. Same goes for if a kiddie coaster cycles you through the ride twice, it doesn't mean it has 2 lift hills. But hey, I can see why other people feel different than I do.
  3. I had to do some editing on CoasterCounter dude to people counting rides like Deja Vu and Invertigo as 6 inversions each. I also added some lengths that weren't there. 155 different inversions 61.76 miles Also, I count V2 at SFDK to have an inversion, but RCDB says different.
  4. 1. Riddler's Revenge 2. Green Lantern 3. Mantis 4. Vortex (CGA)
  5. 1. Drop Tower - Kings Island 2. Drop Tower - CGA 3. Double Shot - SCBB/Dragons Tower - Castle Park (With loose restraints on both) 4. TOT - DCA 5. Cliff Jumper - Scandia 6. Dragon's Decent - Funtown USA/Downtime - Compounce/Scream - SFNE/Supreme Scream - KBF 7. Sling Shot - Adventuredome 8. Maliboomer - DCA
  6. Hypothetically, if the only chance I had to get on a ride like Expedition GeForce, Nemisis, or T-Express is if I had to wait in a 5-hour line at that specific time, then sure I would do it, but realistically that's not going to happen. The opportunity cost for me to wait for rides like I305 and Skyrush are very high, I'd wait hours, but thankfully I will ride them with TPR on New Hotness next year so I probably won't have to wait very long.
  7. And also, if you notice, the other main lift support has gone very vertical this past week in the background of that picture. I can't wait to see this all done.
  8. ^I don't believe that B&M would do that, the heartline that stand-ups are designed around are much higher than floorless.

  10. 25/26. I read "Kumba" too fast and assumed it was Busch. Oh well.
  11. ^I'm assuming it's Intamin? If so, this is very awesome to have more Intamin in this world.
  12. ^Big Bad Wolf's footers have been in the Rhine River since 1984, and will continue to be used on Verbolten.

  15. That Stengel Dive looks really cool, and probably will be interesting to ride in those outer seats. I can't wait to see more of this ride pop up.
  16. I had a great coaster year. Definitely my best, so far! -I had my biggest roller coaster trip, my personal North East US trip. -I went to 8 new theme parks in 6 different states, 44 new credits. -Got to ride 3 out of my 4 favorite roller coasters, all amazing. Bizarro #1, El Toro #2, and Boulder Dash #4 (I still love Millennium Force). -Broke 100 credits with Batman - Dark Knight, SFNE (should've let Bizarro been it, but I couldn't resist going to it first). And attending TPR events: -WCB 2011 (S:EFK *technical* opening day AND Goliath, Batman, and X2 ERT in a crazy down pour)! -Knott's Media Event for Windseeker (and meeting awesome new friends)! Next year I'm doing the official New Hotness TPR trip and am very stoked, hopefully each year gets increasingly better.

  20. What? I really hope that the new Pop music is only temporary. I really love the Ghost Town music. It triggers memories of Knott's and really sets an ambiance for the park.
  21. Because it's 40 years old? Maybe an Intamin flume (ie: Shoot the Rapids) might come too.
  22. I am just going to call that in 2013, Colossus celebrate its 35th birthday by having a Rocky Mountain make-over, N-Tag style! At WCB 2011, Tim Burkhart said that he rode N-Tag and would love to see it implemented on Colossus in the future. All the pieces are matching up.
