Intamin is definitely my favorite manufacturer. The poll seems to have come out in trends this year. My favorite coaster, Millennium Force, is #7 and that's awesome. This just makes me more excited to ride Bizarro this summer. EDIT: ^ Except Expedition Everest at #91

My post was merely trying to show you that there is no reason to be so disappointed with the limited amount of statistics we have so far, I was being optimistic. I fully read your post, and I was trying to be more hopeful than you were. A bash on the members of this site was completely unnecessary. So don't be condescending or insult my intelligence, because I am graduating with a 4.45 gpa and don't have ADD. I may be younger than you, but I probably know just as much as you do about coasters. ^^^I think people like the security of knowing it's an Intamin coaster. Intamin is a trusted name that has a positive connotation. Most people know Zeirer for their Tivoli kiddie coasters, and not many enthusiasts have been out to Lagoon to ride their one major thrill ride. It's looks fun, but we'll just have to wait and see. I'm optimistic about this. It looks lie 2012 is going to be a huge year for theme parks. DW, HP, BGW, SWSD, DP, DCA, and other rumored parks like CP, and KBF. Seeing these pictures gets me excited! You are arguing about a speculative coaster that you do not even know the statistics of. Why are you complaining? I have high hopes for this coaster, and you are bashing it before you even know what it does. I'm just saying that this ride could be just as awesome as a Mega Lite and you do not necessarily need the height to have a great coaster. All the top Mega Coasters are around this height anyway, a lot even shorter. I think it is unfair of you to judge a ride that you don't even know anything about.

Mega Lites are not very long or tall, but they still get rated higher than any of the other mega coasters in the region.

I'm happy to finally see some movement with the trackwork. I'm really hoping that it opens soon, by early June at least.

Well work is being done and that's good. Did you see construction on GL from RR, Tidal Wave, or the Sky Tower?

^ I did it last June on my first trip to KI. I guess that the Gold Pass Season Pass holders get to go back too, so we just got to go back early with them. I got 7 consecutive rides on Diamondback in the rain. It was awesome. We then walked back and got on the first train of Beast. It was an awesome perk.

A lack of flats has been a reoccurring theme on this Thread, and I just wanted to put out some of my ides of what SFMM can do to solve this problem. These are just dreams of what could possibly be done wit the availiable space. I think if these flats are marketed well, they could bring in just as many guests as a new roller coaster, except they're cheaper and take up less space. First, In Thrill Shot's place, a 300' Mondial Windseeker, like the one at Knott's. On the plot of this vacant building next to Sky Tower, an S&S Screamin' Swing, like Sky Hawk at Cedar Point. It could swing right off the mountain. At the old Eagle's Flight station (the V-shaped building used for Haunt) on the top of the mountain, the world's tallest Intaimn Drop Tower, similar to the one at King's Island. On the now unused plot next to Deja Vu, a Huss Giant Frisbee, like Delirium at King's Island Next to Scream, a Huss Top Spin, like Riptide at Knott's. Along with a re-theme could add some life into that whole area. A Mexican-themed flat like Wipeout at Knott's being put in Revolution's old overflow queue.

Just a thought, but if Magic Mountain builds a new coaster for 2012, I hope it's not focused on inversions. I just saw that the park has the record for the most inversions in a park at 35. The second place park is Thorpe Park with 22. I think we have more than enough inversions. It's time to focus on airtime! I would love an Intamin Mega or Giga.

And now corkscrew #2 is being changed back to green. This is really funny to see.
