  1. ^Good to hear. I am anxiously awaiting vertical construction of supports and track for Green Lantern. Another thing, does Roadrunner Express use that shed building that is already there as its station?
  2. ^Diamondback was really awesome. I have it as my #2 coaster. Tatsu is my #4.
  3. ^It's cool. Anyways, I hope it's an Intamin. It would definitely round out Hershey's line-up. I mean, 3 GCI's, Storm Runner, Fahrenheit, an Intamin Mega or something, a B&M Invert, and a Schwartzkopf. That sounds like they covered all bases to me.
  4. Don't forget that SFGAdv has Nitro (230') and Kingda Ka (456').
  5. Colorado? Colorado Rockies? Rocky Mountains? Rocky Mountain Construction? All the woodies are getting the RMC remodel for 2012!
  6. Also, their established date is 1911, which adds to 12.
  7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Z6oDzp8-1Y&feature=channel_video_title Testing video has been posted to Gravity Group's Facebook

Favorite Wood Coaster (Apocalypse, SFMM) 6. Xcelerator, Knott's Berry Farm 7. X2, SFMM 8. Magnum XL-200, Cedar Point 9. Raptor, Cedar Point 10. Goliath, SFMM 11. Medusa, SFDK 12. Batman The Ride, SFMM 13. California Screamin', DCA 14. Riddler's Revenge, SFMM 15. Wicked Twister, Cedar Point My top steel list is dominated by Cedar Point (6) and Six Flags Magic Mountain (5).
  9. It's got airtime written all over it! Except for the fact that it is being promoted as a family coaster, and parents today tend to freak out that children will not be safe during moments of air time. Well Gravity Group calls them airtime hills on the Facebook and they designed it, so hopefully it will have some airtime!
  10. I just do not think people should rate the new Superman at SFMM, as if the change had happened already, when it clearly opened in 2011, and the poll is for 2010. I can understand for coasters that are virtually the same as a few months ago, coasters in Australia, but big changes like S:EFK or New Texas Giant should wait until next year, I think.
  11. Gravitrons and rotors are pretty fun.
  12. I rode the Crypt last year, and I thought the theming was good (that demon thing), but the ride cycle itself was super short and only flipped like once, which I thought was really lame for the largest Top Spin in the world. It has a lot of potential.
  13. I just saw Bert the Conquerer at KD. He calls the transitions on Intimidator, "twisties." It made me think of Robb's video.
  14. I have a lot, so I'll do just a few: Octotron - Belmont Park Drop Tower - King's Island Delirium/MaXair - CP/KI Skyhawk - Cedar Point Supreme Scream - Knott's Ranger - Darien Lake Beach Blaster - Belmont Park Dive Devil - SFMM Cliff Jumper - Scandia Tower of Terror - DCA Fun Wheel - DCA
  15. It looks like Superman Escape may have enough enthusiast riders to finally compete in Mitch's poll!
  16. I wished I would have remembered to ask about the removal of Thrill Shot and the new DC Universe re-theme.
  17. So at WCB, Tim Burkhart said that he rode the New Texas Giant, and he loved it. He also said that he would like to try to apply this onto Colossus, with some original style. He made it sound like it could definitely be a possibility. That was one of the highlights of the Q&A this year.
  18. This thing is going to be much taller than people expect. I'm excited for the one at Knott's.
  19. I have a question: Why are most of the coasters at CGA without station/maintenance shed roofs? Is rain and weather no issue? It just seems weird that almost every park, even in California, has roofs, but not CGA.
  20. But what if the new Kong trains have restraints like Greater Nor' Easter or whatever in New Jersey? That could be an improvement.
  21. "This just in: DC Universe is confirmed for Six Flags Magic Mountain! Go BIG with WONDER WOMAN'S Golden Lasso and The FLASH! These are rethemes Grinder Gearworks and Atom Smasher respectively. EPIC right?" This was posted on Amusement Park Authority's Facebook Page.
  22. ^I completely disagree with you. Xcelerator accelerates 0-82 in 2.3 seconds while Superman accelerates 0-100 in 7 seconds, and that's a huge difference to me. Xcelerator's launch is similar to TTD's launch which is 0-120 in 4 seconds. I find Xcelerator one of the most intense coasters I've been on, especially compared to Superman.
  23. ^Because height shows how decent a roller coaster is... [/sarcasm] I think Xcelerator is much better than old Superman, and still probably better than the new version too.
  24. ^I don't think so.... If you're trying to make ERT seem not as cool as it is, you are way wrong. ERT at WCB is way better than ANY normal operation day, trust me!
  25. YES! I'm looking forward to my surprise photo tour. I got to go in X2's maintenance shed last year and that was super awesome!
