I work downtown Chicago, and I constantly encounter this on the streets -- people staring at their phones, not watching where they are going. When they approach me on my side of the sidewalk, staring down at their damn white iPhones, I intentionally slam into them extra hard and tell them to watch where they're going. It's fun. Bonus points if they're tourists. People run into me way too often. Where are you at? I'm on Michigan and Lake! I am really annoyed by the Lyft promoters downtown on almost every popular corner. All shouting about the "50 dollars off the first ride" thing. Nothing against the individual, it's Lyft putting people out there. And outside music concerts/venues. I don't think people understand that hardly anyone is qualified for $$$ off their rides.

Great photos, thanks for the report! Looks like they are keeping the park in very good shape and taking steps to keep it ontop of the Aussie theme park food chain. Although Superman was closed for refurb while I was there, the 1 - 2 punch of Scooby Doo and Wild West is a top notch themed ride duo. I miss that place! Is that goofy Looney Toons boatride/dark ride still kicking?

Haunt's 'host/undertaker' is Mikey. He does the absolute best job, and you may run into him at comic con or other cosplay conventions. He's a great guy and would rarely break character behind the scenes! Miss that guy.

Totally missed out on Haunt the other night. Glad ya'll had fun and the crowds were low! I love KillMart. Maybe I went in with low expectations, but they did a great job. When working in the games department, I spent a lot of time in that building! I couldn't believe they packed so much in there. Thanks for the review. Maybe I'll get back next year! ...or bail on SFGAm and go back to Cincy.

Tossing in a name suggestion. When I saw the subtitle of the thread "RMC all but confirmed" I honestly thought we were mocking the fanboys/trolls. Kinda surprised this is happening. I can tell you I will book another 3 day CP trip next year.

Great pictures! The haunt tour really shows how the level of detail at Knott's is above the other CF parks. Pretty impressive..and freaky!

I think so. I look entirely too serious in it, though, being the only one who didn't know where the camera is! I hope so; I had a good time! Just don't stand right behind me next time, or else. Not a problem...I just had no idea they were quite that bizarre with regards to pushing out their religious beliefs. Neither did I! That was my opinion, and it was the prevailing opinion among our group. They used a Brazilian hardwood for the top rails that has a similar strength to steel, in order to prevent the deterioration that had previously happened. The Knott's staff are very proud of this ride, and it's really great. The "why so serious?" Look is hilarious! Great report from the event and I look forward to seeing the rest of the report!

I'll be curious to see how the Breakers Express rates change after the renovation. We stayed there 4 nights and between 2 people it was around 260, which included the tickets and funpix. Pretty schweeet deal to me, and no extra charge for being walking distance to the Pony. No brainer for me.

Challenge: Praise & dab on Dragster. It took us 3 times to get it right, and after trouble with FunPix, I finally got the collection from my trip! Failed on the dab. The positive forces were folding me over and I missed the camera Success!

The 1AM closings are great for short lines too. I'll never forget working those 1am shifts and riding super later after hours at 230. Amazing!
