Im with you. I still play to compete, but its still for fun. Ill never be that great but my goal right now is to be able to get D's and C's on Standard. Im hovering at E's and D's Granted, Ive only been playing the game for 1 month, and thats one time a week, maybe 15 songs.

So they are that good? Thats VERY good to hear. They bought Legends train because its the same old G-Trains as the ones already on there. I actually feel RWB may be a decent ride with a re-tracking. Remember, after a re-tracking the train will carry ALOT more speed since it wont lose so much jostling around like it used to. It spends alot of energy on bad tracking. Same for Big D. Big D already IMO gave a great ride, but with a retracking, it can ONLY get faster which means WAY more ejector air. I cant wait.

It looks like there is water jets underneath...or its just an illusion.

Favorite Woodie in Indiana?

Yea, like Raging Bull. Had high hopes, they were killed. However, Shivering Timbers delivered massively for me...we were allowed 4-5 click rides back seat. Talk about airtime...I also loved Thunderhead. Insane directional changes + laterals + pops of air. Nothing sustained, but great ride. Cornball I almost find better in front, though, in back you get a few killer drops of just pure floater goodness. Youll never get close to it with regular bars. -

Well of course they arent taken that fast. Its controlled, but its still violent. I mean look, you take the turn THEN dive left. Even with the 2 car trains that are highly articulated, facing backwards, in the back car, is a TRIP. -

Cornball for 2 reasons... : CCI + Buzzbars As for Locosumo....its SUCH a tough call for me. Ive hardly had ANY more fun on a ride than that thing. It was so violent (most violent ride Ive ever been on) but it didnt beat me up. That ride has to pull more laterals I think than most anything here in the states...has too. Some of the turns are ridiculous See? Thats just not even right... -
And I thought I was really bad! I consider myself a picky eater but thats pretty crazy.

I havent noticed any effects being down. I could go through the entire ride on here if ya like. I just rode it in February. Nothing out of the ordinary. For a period of time the Thermal scanner at the end was broke but it was working in Feb. -

On the S&S tower, if you got to the top and just glided down, you should have gotten another ride. What happens is the holding brakes didnt catch the fins and its sort of like an e-stop on a flat ride. Same thing happened to me on power tower. Got all the way to the top, then, instead of the nice "click - THUD" there was no sound and we just glided back down. But we got another ride. Still weak. I want an Intamin Drop tower... -
B&M vs Intamin
Real replied to alpengeistdude321's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Firsts? Sit Downs? Only the 4 seater... Hyper? No, belongs to Arrow Stand Ups? Nope...Belongs to Togo Flying? No again... Techincally belong to Skytrack International. But for the sake of the worlds first true flying coaster that lasted, that belongs to Stealth, which is a Vekoma Creation. B&M is alot like the BASF commercials you see on TV. "We dont make alot of the rides you ride, we make them better" They have only truely innovated the Inverted ride and the Dive Machine. Everything else was an improvement on someone elses design. Wether they were planning the same time or not, they were beaten every time. -

If you run XP, right click on it, go to properties. Then click the compatibility tab. Check mark the OS box, leave it at Windows 95. then check 256 colors and 640-480 mode. Worked fine for me. Robb, it does its own thing. Its not a game. Basically, you can get it to eat, but thats the extent of what you do. It just takes care of itself.

B&M vs Intamin
Real replied to alpengeistdude321's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Intamins safety is inpecible. Lets review the facts: Hydro: Lady too large for the ride gets on. Water ride + not fitting into restraints + 80 degree drop = coming out. Not Intamins fault, ride wasnt operated properly. SROS: Man way too large gets on + Park adjusted seat belt that shouldnt have been retrofitted + Lap bar no where near being in correct position + lots of airtime = man coming out. I find their restraints to be the safest, even over B&M. The seat belts for one you CANNOT break or come out of is fastened and tightened correctly. Like everything, nothings perfect. Someone will come along and find a loop hole. You cant failsafe anything really truely. Someone will find a way to die or be injured on it. But those are exceptions. If Intamin was having people falling out every time you turn around, then its an issue. My vote goes to Intamin. -

^And shed probably be the best for the job. People who come from those sort of positions usually have a better understanding and respect for whats going on. Why most good companies promote from within. -
