When I rode last year I found very fun, Gwazi that is. Very intense and wasnt rough at all. Come ride Mean Streak, youll have a deeper appriciation for Gwazi. Gwazi had a great pace too when I was there, never let up. Too bad only one side was up :\

Sadly, not much. Unless you want to ride more coasters, from CP Geauga Lake is only an hour away. I make a one hour drive to CP there and back (2 hour total) on Friday nights after work. And thats only for 3-4 hours of play time. You could visit the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame as well in cleveland if you didnt want to go to Geauga or spend the money, though GL is pretty cheap.

Exactly, its pointless to worry. And anyways, with the Canary Island deal, thats only a WORST case scenario. Reports (and common sense) point out that in the case of an eruption, the island is known to be more loose than solid. Thus, the island would break apart in peices, not ONE whole peice. If you want to simulate the effect, fill up your bath tub. If the whole thing slid off at once, drop a bowling ball in the water. Duh, you can imagine that. Now, the more realistic idea is the thing breaking into tons of peices. Now, cut that ball into a ton of tiny peices, drop it. Youll probably get a few big ones, but nothing thats going to really do anything but send some nice sized waves to places close by. The whole thing about the entire island breaking off is possible, but highly sensationalized. Ive read countless scientific reports about the islands and its not been known to do that. Its past shows that it would break into peices before it flows in at once.

And the kicker is that was she really suffering? She apparently pretty much lost all parts of her brain apart from the brain stem. That means she lost the cortex and all that stuff that tells you pain, feelings, memory, etc. So in theory, she wouldnt know if she was being starved to death, her brain doesnt know what that is. Same for any suffering in general. But the question I pose is this: What good was she doing for anyone in this state? What have her parents wanted with her? What kind of sick mind keeps a "Shell" of a human alive for 15 years? Any and all facial movement you saw was purely involuntary. She couldnt respond to anything directed at her and most likly wasnt even thinking, just existing. I think the real irony was this. She got into this state because she was buleimic. Anorexics and Buleimics increase their risks of strokes and heart attacks 10 fold and she suffered such a bad heart attack that her brain was cut off from oxygen so long everything but the brain stem was lost. The irony comes in when you realize the fight was over her feeding tube. If you went on her previous lifestyle, she wouldnt have wanted it. But I dont want to sound morbid. Its sad the whole thing took place, but hopefully shes out of her "misery" now.

You seem bound and determined to make me a PS2 fan so its quite pointless to even carry on. I guess one cannot express their own opinions (based on actual gameplay) without some sort of recourse. As I believe I said way back in the beginning...for the types of games I play, what I like needs to be more powerful, play better and faster. Im not an RPG person at all. Not much into sports. Dont like fantasy games. That should explain why I dont feel the PS2 is that great a machine, for me.

Millennium Force - front seat -downpour = ouch. It was just a light sprinkle...enough to run in. Till we reached the apex, then it all let loose. We were the last ride till it subsided, but ouch, wont do that again.

Old ones have not been faulty. So far just about every accident has involved 1 of 2 things: Park Error or Guest Error...and techincally the park should prevent Guest Error so that leaves just park error. Amazing what some glorified news can do.

You can do that with Intamins. Use a brake segment. Set a Hold time. Then set a launch force, and voila. All set.

The best onride is the one from Robb and Elissa's Wedding on Tower of Terror. Simply hilarious everytime I look at it. I bet the people who got to print it out had a blast with that one.
