Got stuck on the MCB of Mean Streak about a year ago. While they talked to us via a worker who ran up with a radio they tried to get it fixed for about 20 minutes. After that they walked us down the emergency steps and low and behold (at that time) sitting at the base of the MCB were the engines and tires to Dragster. Ive gotten stuck plenty of other times but that one takes the cake. I even took a short video of it using a picture camera with video before the Op made it up to us.

Since I didnt see this thread...Ill copy my post here. This thing has flown around the internet faster than Paris Hiltons sex tape. Music: Wizards of Winter by Trans-Siberian Orchestra. House Owner: Carson Williams of Mason Ohio. Number lights: 16,000 Number of LOR Channels: 88 (used to sync lights) Software Used: Light-O-Rama The music is broadcast over a low-power FM frequency so when you drive by and see the house theres a sign that gives you the frequency. So you can stop your car, tune in and enjoy the show. (Saw this a few days ago and scowered the internet for info) -
Total classic and hits all the great lines.

rides with insane lines but not worth the waits
Real replied to methos's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
You people crab about 30-40 minute waits. Live near CP and those become short lines when you get used to them. Heck, when Im at another park and people are like "omg! 30 minutes?!" Im jumping for joy saying "Oh yea! multiple rides baby!" Really, anything under 30 is great. Anything under 15 is what I consider walk on. Anything thats truely walkon is just well...instant. -
Bi Coastal Kid- Nice choice. Glad to see you went with the obvious best choice there with the Canon

Im not even going to go there...

Has anyone ever given any thought to maybe laterals were designed into the ride to add to the overall theme of a run-away expedition?!

I wouldnt mind as long as I owned that Viper. It looks like an ACR but I doubt it.

Well, thats probably one of those wooden loop coasters that broke peoples necks. I dont really think they had accelerometers on those things back then but I bet through some rough math someone figured it out. But considering it broke necks...probably a good chance it was that high

^Good luck waiting. They are starting at like 2G's right now. They do look STUNNING though.

PABLO RULES! Dane Cook is great as well. I also love Carlin and Robin Williams when they arent being downright vulgar. They seem to be their funniest when they are forced to not use vulgar language and instead use a funnier insert. Also Bill Engvall and Ron White. Classic.

Oakwood Discussion Thread

I would think it refers to the speed needed to run the videos but instead of just using the terms "high" and "low" by themselves, they use speed with it. -
Where on earth did you ever hear that? Tower of Terror -6.3- (SBNO for rehab) http://www.rcdb.com/id1481.htm Thriller/Texas Tornado -6 ish- (later moved to SFMW as Zonga and reprofiled) http://www.rcdb.com/ig492.htm Read the topic on G-Forces. 5.5 is alot, but not really a ton. Unless you weigh 400 lbs, then 5G's makes you a ton.

Meisho is mostly famous for Moonsault Scramble which was one of very few coasters to feature 6+ G's on its ride. Pretty much everything I already knew based on research I have done. Its AWESOME to see someone out ther realizing the truth. Its not in the rides, but in the riders. I have those ASTM guidelines. They are incredibly detailed and provide some amazing depth. Im suprised that Dueling Dragons wasnt mentioned. I can see RnRC hitting just over 5 because of the lack of a smooth lead-in to the half loop. Otherwise, I would have thought that Dueling Dragons : Fire's helix of doom after the second immelman might have been on there for "duration intensity". That helix in the back seat is mighty powerful. That whole "airtime hill - slanted immelman - helix" combo is my favourite for any ride to date.
