Beautiful photos! Colossos looks awesome, El Toro was great so I'd love to try that one.

Well, Dragons does have the awesomely themed trains, lagoon below, and interacts with the castle queue several times, so it's not too bad as it is.

This update and me riding El Toro last week doesn't help the fact that I MUST RIDE BALDER! And free beer too??? Ohhhh man... so jealous. That trip just looks better and better with every update. Saving my pennies for Japan...

Hey there, I got sick of working on my Arcadia Chasm park for now, and decided to try a side project to celebrate the inclusion of Venom in the third Spidey movie. As you know, Venom is the illest comic book character to ever grace the pages of Marvel comics, so it's about time to give him his own ride. The idea came from the announcement of USJ's new coaster, and a visit to the horrible Marvel park in Niagara Falls last year. I thought, what if they built a park entirely based on Marvel that didn't suck? And this park was born... Other inspiration includes the coasters of IOA, but these dueling beemers will be the first of many unique rides for this park. Enjoy the first shots of Spiderman vs. Venom: Symbiote Showdown. Spidey focuses on airtime while the twisted Venom goes for inversions. It isn't much to look at yet without scenery or custom supports, but it will. The duels are pretty incredible and took a lot of work! The lab in which Venom escapes with Spidey right behind him... The dueling wingovers are the only parts of the coasters to receive custom supports so far. Day one of work on SS, added the entry gate first.

I like the track version because of the pileups and bumping opportunities they create. SFNE has a great bumper car track in Crackaxle Canyon, the floor-powered ones.

Coasterguy, it appears the ride is staggered up higher than SUF, making the ride taller but the lift the same height from the station.

Klockster, the only building I see is on the left of the photo. Do you mean that one? They kept Whitewater Landing's buildings, I'm assuming they will be re-using for either the ride's loading station, or maybe a gift shop/queue house.

Looks pretty nice! I've been interested in this odd Vekoma SLC since they announced it and it looks pretty accurate.

Everest, IOA-pretty much the same quality, no? EDIT: To answer my own question... the name of the ride is and I quote... Shui Jing Shen Yi "The Crystal Wings" If you find any more photos of this coaster, especially in action, please post them here. I love the colors!

^ There's a surprisingly good game for DS lite called Magnetica that I play every other day or so. It's pretty addictive. Other titles I have are... New Super mario Bros, Sonic Rush, Yoshi and Mario Kart, they all have really good replay value. And yes, the DS lite is very sexy, all I-Podish and stuff.

Coming from someone who actually likes SUF... I can't believe how awesomely themed an already "good" ride is. I had heard about this park, and heard they were going to theme their B&M but this quality is unexpected. Anyone know the name of the coaster?

I believe it's the last one Sam Raimi will be directing, but I heard the same thing (6 or 7) There was also mention of Dunst and McGuire not being in movies that go beyond the 3rd movie, I hate when they do that... but it's way too early to tell. (ie Batman)

PC PS2 (my brothers but I use it all the time for Ultimate Spidey) Xbox360 NDS As soon as the Wii comes out I'll have one too. Wish they were taking preorders already.

So far the only picture of Venom I've seen is this one, to say the least I am excited about this movie because it will feature my favorite comic book character in the so-far-well-done Spiderman series. If anyone comes across new promo photos with Venom please post them here!

Did anyone see the longer Spiderman 3 trailer? Let's hear it...

I'm not surprised they're getting a major coaster, less than a year ago I was thinking how awesome it would be if they got a coaster similar to Hulk themed to my favorite comic book character of all time. (You know...) Then today, I'm doing my Screamscape browse for little tidbits and there was a rumor claiming the ride MAY be themed to Spiderman. I find it hard to believe seeing that they already have a Spiderman clone, but if it does carry this theme, that would be awesome.

Quite the contrary, thunderstorms are one of nature's most fascinating things to me. The yellow lightning I saw in Beuofrt, SC was amazing! We don't get nearly enough electrical displays up here in the NE.

I am so behind on movies but I'll make it a priority to see this one. There hasn't been a bad Keven Smith movie yet.

I think it's kind of nice having a city with no massively huge buildings. Nothing pathetic about it at all.
