I feel a slight bit smarter tonight for reading your post and somewhat understanding it!!

Ok, so as I'm getting older, my mind is starting to fail, but for some reason I remember racing log fumes at CP. I want to say they were on the main midway, but could be mistaken. Am I just imagining things or was it real? Seems like they were down by the carousel or something. I think I'm just old.

I have to agree....Hot ladies always attract people, especially ACErs that can only see them up close like that. But also, the coaster looks great, but the all red color is kind of ugly. Could have done something different with the supports, maybe grey or something, just all blends together too much.

Hey Jizz, I was there on Mon with the fam. It was amazing to see the ops on Backlot stack 3 coasters at a time. I had to laugh, they couldn't even get one train out before the last one came back. They crew spent a lot of time standing around laughing and the supervisor looked like he could care less.

I rode FoF a few weeks ago and have to agree. The launch seems more powerful and there seems to be a new lighting package inside. It made for an incredible ride. My only complaint is the Mid Course brakes which completely stop the train. But I loved it!!

On the 3rd page of that SF article, it mentions a "gay fiesta train" ride. My question is WTF is that? One can only imagine.....

I think you're right. If I'm not mistaken, there were quite a few littering problems with guests. They continually threw trash into the pond. I also believe there were quite a few insect related problems when the water was there. Yeah, living in OH my whole life, I can only imagine the wonderful amounts of mosquitoes that would be near that water in the fall. It would have been horrible!!! I can remember the water being their when I was younger, but don't recall when it was gone.

Not sure why they removed the water from the Beast que, probably so they didn't have to keep the water and area clean. I believe that's where the canoe stuff was that the Brady Bunch rode, so maybe it just evaporated over the years. I miss King Cobra and Screamin' Demon (my first inversions). Would Jeff count SD as two credits? One forward, one backward? The cool part about that King Cobra pic is the monorail in the background. Maybe they will take out SOB and put the monorail back in. (Yes, I know Jungle Jim's has it now, but I can dream, right?)

I'm all for that!!! But while you are at it, run them backwards!!!

Glad I got to ride it with loop and without. Gotta say I won't really miss it that much. They should have gone another direction entirely with it instead of tying it into the Beast, that had to fail from the beginning. I say tear it down and put King Kobra back up.

Oh great and wonderful title fairy, may I please have a creative new custom title? Maybe something to do with Pixar's Cars? Thank you oh merciful and beautiful one.

So if they're completely rethemeing it, what are they going to do about Huckleberry Hound's Ice Cream? That is the best ice cream around. I wonder what they will come up with for that?

Does it really matter? It's a new coaster for a park that could use one, if nothing more than to draw in more guests. Who cares where it came from, how many they have or anything. Let it go and let the guests enjoy it.

Too bad they wouldn't let you put KidTums on here season pass, that would have been perfect.

Why am I sensing a new "TPR caption contest" with this pic? I started laughing as soon as I saw it for some reason. But the park sounds fun.....robotic fish, "Dances with Robots" sounds great. "Everyone who touched themselves in the shower this morning, give me a fist pump!!"

^ I really like your new design Gumball, but for me the new font kind of reminds me of a '40's era Hollywood marquee. Try maybe "Charlemagne STD" or "MisterEarl BT" font. They are good looking fonts that read well, but don't look corporate. But I think you are really onto something with this new design.

^^I like your layout Gumball, my only concern is that gray coaster car is gonna become a blobby mess on the card. There just might not be enough detail to make out arms, hair and stuff. Just an observation. I think the overall design is great and reads really well.

I think that could look cool, but here's my issue with this design right now, the "R" in TPR is going to blend into the black and may not print/or be seen really well. not quite sure how to fix it, but I can see the right side of the "R" fading off into the black. I've designed gift cards/loyalty/employee cards for my POS customers so I have a good feel for how things will look when they are printed. There are some great designs so far. White prints ok as long as it's on a dark background, but too much black can be overwhelming.

Screamin' Demon was great!!! The only bad part was the flights of stairs to get up there. What was it like 5 or 6 flights to the top? What a great gem Shane, I still miss that ride to this day!! (That and the King Cobra)

Concept reminds me alot of the Flight Commander rides from KI and such. You had a joystick that could control altitude and spin. Hopefully no one gets drunk and falls out of these.
