say what you want but has B&M ever really let us down before? Plus that was the first test run so I'm sure this thing will be cookin' as it continues to test. The first drop and the first 5 inversions looked solid, going to be a ride worth looking into when opening day rolls around to see what the hype will be!

coasterbilly replied to ScubaSteve442's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
VERY interesting lists you guys, can't help but notice that Boulder Dash is not there, does this mean you guys haven't taken a trip to ride that wonderful piece of lumber??? -

wow im going out on a limb too but this might turn out being the best B&M Speed coaster when its done, this thing is going to take the Golden Ticket awards by storm -
yeah just thought I'd add because I went to the park last saturday for the last weekend of operation and no new track has arrived, I too was surprised to see the yellow. I hope the supports are different from other impulses, thought the ride would be a dark color because of the name and logo, but hey, as stated earlier Impulses are fun so it's fine!

Nightride, front row, Talon last ride of the season and it ran faster then I can ever remember, it was amazing! -

yeah i too was at the park saturday and wow was it crowded! The lot was nearly full and it took 30 minutes to get to the gate! But, still had a great day: Wildcat: 2 Lightning Racer: 1 Storm Runner: 1 Great Bear: 1 Sidewinder: 1 Longest wait, if you can believe it, was Sidewinder which was an hour (I was with friends who REALLY wanted to do it, so I waited it out). Wildcat runs amazing with new Millennium Flyers, not so rough anymore! LR was amazing, SR was amazing, and Great Bear flew, we were on third to last train in the front and boy was it fast and smooth, so underrated! Love this park and can't wait for Fahrenheit, but I'll be back for Christmas too! -

i really think that if these become a success (which it looks like they are), most SLC's should recieve trains with these at major parks. Obviously there are many many many SLC's out there so distribution would be interesting, but these restraints definitely will make the ride experience a lot more pleasant! -

well it's exciting that they are at least testing this thing, so 2008 it's gauranteed it'll be open and ready for guests, I'd rather them take a long time to build it right and operational then quick and have many problems with it -

Most thrilling drop?

El Toro's is just nasty, and amazing. Millennium Force's is just beautiful. Nitro's is just long and floaty. my favorites -

Brave Six Flags Birds Get the Worms
coasterbilly replied to PKI Jizzman's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
wow what a disgusting thing, but it'll definitely bring in the crowds, it's cool how parks individually are upping how they run things. Should be a big hit, even though I wouldn't eat any of those bugs... -
while I'm still upset that GL is history, I'm glad it's coasters will still live on. I do think they should rename there rides, I mean look at Voodoo going to Dorney, totally different name and logo, and possibly a new paint job. I know this is an SLC, but it's a new coaster to people in Michigan, I'd think a new theme would be neat, but I guess that's CF for you sometimes.

coasterbilly replied to Balmera's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
haha i agree with everyone else, freakin insane but not for me, just way too intense and fast! I would try it once to see how i feel but geez, no body got off sick! -
Intamin Accelerators
coasterbilly replied to HCOSurfer90's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
TTD: sheer speed, sheer height, sheer ownage. KK and Storm Runner are the other 2 I've been on, KK just flat out hurts and stinks because of the restraints, and Storm Runner is amazing, but the rush on TTD wins it for me! -
Hersheypark Announces Fahrenheit!
coasterbilly replied to Meteornotes's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
well HP does it again, this is very exciting, you cant go wrong with Intaman (i love how everyone complains that we just got Storm Runner, but CP's last 4 coasters were all Intamins too were they not?). This will be exhilerating, fun, and fantastic, will it overtake Storm Runner? I dont know, but it'll be a blast to hop on next season! -
this is so exciting, 2 new coasters in a day, this is a treat for SFSTL because GCI's are fantastic and re-rideable too. Honestly I'm not a fan of the name at all, Evel Knievel is amazing, but I don't think a coaster needs to be named after him. But, nonetheless, this will be quite a thrill and gives Ozark Wildcat some competetion being 3 1/2 hours southwest of there!
