Broke my wrist about 3 years My friends and I were trying to see who could jumped the furthiest of a swing....I swung as high as I could.....but when i when to jump....i was too high lol..so i didnt come off the swing...but I hut the ground with a big bang lol.....was cuncsed for 20 minutes and broke my wrist worst part was i was going to Disneyland Paris and Parc Asterix 5 days later.....I still went but i got on literally nothing at Parc Asterix but I got on most at DLP. The day at Parc Asterix was probably one of the worst days of my life lol...watching all my friends go on the rides while I stood and held the bags!

Dueling Dragon at IOA is awesome but my personal favourite is Nemesis...sorry i cant find any pics

yeah the pics look great....i think though it looks a bit cramped and out-of-place there. But still...great additions for BPB and keep those updates coming

yeah i thought it was very similiar and thought it was a batman clone until I realised it wasn't B&M trains.

i have ridden avalanche at BPB and Trace de Hourra at Parc Asterix. Trace de Hourra wins by a mile. Its a really fun and exciting coaster. Shocked me as I have never been a huge fan of Avalanche but this ride kicks ass!

I kind of agree with most of the things said in this topic. Every 2nd year i go on a big family holiday. But this year all my aunties think we should go somewhere else that doesnt contain coasters as me and my cousins are too BIG for them!!! My cousins and I kicked up a really big fuss about this and said that your never too big. My auntie then said theme parks are for kids and that no one above our age goes!!! I then got pretty angry and told her about this website and the age groups of people involved. She then said that these people are sad and that i need to grow up and get a life! She even spoke too my dad about how its not right to like coasters soo much past a certain age!!! I'm only 17 and i'm going to ride coasters as long as i like! I still cant believe it!

wait a minute! according to RCDB the durations on both rides are completely different! Rita's being 25s and Desert Race's being 49s! i noticed that the velocity's are different but only by a difference of 1 mph, so i cant see how that can make a time difference of 24s?

^ yeah M & D's is my home park and to be honest I wouldn't even call it a theme park. It's rubbish! Yeah the indoor arcade is pretty good but the theme park is rubbish. The main rolloer coaster their "Tornado" contains more pain on a ride than any vekoma I have been on. (and i have been on a lot). Last session they took away the corkscrew at the end of the ride as so many poeple had complain about the pain they experienced on that park of the ride. There used to be quite a lot of good flat rides but ever since they bought the VERY small inverted coaster they have got rid of them. I hope they have bought better ones for the new session.

yeah i was there on xmas eve with a group of friends. Was really good but last year was better. I've notice the amount of rides they have each is slowly decreasing! The spinning wild mouse wasnt there but was replaced by a small, boring spinning powered coaster. Em there were a few more but i cant think off the top of my head! Still had a really good time though Best Rides are definetly: Speed Flip Super Spin Rotor They kick ass!

I got a laptop for going to uni (even though i dont start till september!!!) and a new bass guitar. An Epiphone Thunderbird!!!!

I think calculas is pretty easy when you get the hang of it. I do hate trig. though! I working with graphs and stuff!!!

My least favourite subject is probably english just cause i'm crap at it! Plus it's really boring and i hate writing essays about poems and stuff. My fave subjects though are: Physics Maths Chemistry I can understand why most people hate maths but i really like it! Plus i'm going to study Physics at uni next year and of the classes i have to take is maths. So i'm pretty glad i like it! oh and i'm not a geek if anyone thinks i am lol (my mum says i'm cool!)

Strathy can be awesome. But to get the best socially, you have to get off your butt and really go for things. There are (or were when I was there) tons of student run clubs. From the chess club, the the laser game club, to the extreme sports club. But no coaster club. maybe thats an opening for you? The Uni even help fund some of them if you can pitch it as having some educational value. Plus the union building is cool, I used to practically live in Gamezone on the third level. (not sure its still called that though). yeah we got at talk at school the other day by student and they were telling us about these sort of clubs and the coaster club was the first thing that came to mind! lol But i'm not sure how it would go as there are VERY few enthusiasts in scotland never mind one university. But I could always give it a try.
