  1. Ok I can see they arn't the same but still I wonder why Premier didn't just use their own style of restraints instead of those horrible pull down things
  2. I can just see Knott's getting one of these - But this time there will be no drops or loops it will just Zig Zag in the old KOD building. . .
  3. Is it just me or does it look like they stripped down the old trains and kept the old seats and restraints
  4. I'm going to get it foe this one but I thought the first drop on Zonga was great
  5. I have heard nothing about them baing removed they are all still on the web site - As far as Insanity it is a ride that If I am in the area, and there is no wait I will ride again, It was good but not great
  6. My What the Heck is the sudden face down on the brake run
  7. Well a 6 or even a five could have the potential to do alot of damage in areas that don't have any Earthquake codes because the buildings there arn't designed to withstand ground movement -
  8. well I know it isn't random I can see the fault there but its like if. . . well I mean when we get a quake on the Hayward Fault out here in California, it hasn't happned in around 200 years - Some faults take on an almost extinct personality for long periods of time then wake up and suprise everyone
  9. Here is the USGS map of the location of the quake. . . http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqcenter/recenteqsww/Maps/10/275_30.php pretty random area for an earthquake IMO
  10. Well Cedar Fair didn't seem to care that PKI already had a Huss Giant Frisbee whan they built one did they? Plus v2 isn't a standard Impulse so it isn't like they would be building the exact same thing, otherwise there isn't a heck of alot that will fit in that spot without tearing the stupid turbo theater out
  11. Skyrides are vanishing for a number of reasons IMO, one due to the way the cars enter the station and need to be caught by a person and there is always a risk of employees and or guests getting hit, two the cars swing and roll durring loading and unloading and there is a risk of guests falling, and three stupid people nowadays find it amusing to spit and throw things at people on the ground and parks probably don't want to deal with the liability and find it is much easier to eliminate the problem as opposed to stopping it
  12. Why Can I see Cedar Fair putting some kind of Impulse Coaster where Tidal Wave once was
  13. I imagine since the company is S&S Arrow there will be Roller Coasters down the road regardless, keep in mind they are just getting started Rome wasn't built in a day
  14. well yeah Stealth was a problem plagued coaster I will agree - The load and dispatch time are somthing that could have been fixed over time however - But I toataly agree Stelth was a Sub Par attraction, but so is the Grizzly if you can even call it that
  15. Ok here is my bit - First off Boomerang Bay was a great concept and as stated before is a bigger money maker than a new coaster. . . but I have always thought removing Stealth was a mistake, the Grizzly takes up quite a footprint as well and there would have been plenty of room to expand into the employee parking area, or what about all of the land still vacant from the Whizzer that had already been cleared for the TA2K we lost to PKD
  16. We are all forgeting that Intamin has had much fewer problems with magnetic launch systems, this coasster in theory should ruin as smoothly as California Screamin' but we will just wait and see = Scott
  17. This just makes me think hi-tech Schwarzkopf speedracer Yay Cedar Point is building a giant Whizzer
  18. Hey all I am in the process of planning out Haunt and was wondering if Shipwreck is worth my time or not - Thanks Scott
  19. Yeah wouldn't it be nice to see somthing similiar to the old Cyclone they once had go up there
  20. On the other hand I am curious how the ride in the big boy seats would compare to the other seats for someone who isn't big, one would think there would be better air in the bigger restraints. . . well one would hope Scott " we need Big boy seats on Ghostrider" Brown
  21. Favorte Steel: Xcelerator without a doubt, but I am also partial to Revoulition just because it's a Schwarzkopf Favorite Wood: (haha) Ghostrider and the SCBB Dipper (the San Diego one can go to hell) Best Waterslide: Havn't done water slides in a long time but I would say Royal Flush Best Food: Dunno I love food so as long as it isn't cat or RatTums I will say all park food is good Best Fun: Vegas the largest theme park there is Best Park: I grew up going to SCBB so I am going to say that one,
  22. Ahhh yes the High Roller probably one of the most sick flats out there
  23. The Chairswings at PGA had 2 good breakdowns back to back, first they couldn't get the thing to stop then they couldn't get it to start right (it would do the wave motion but refused to spin) strangest thing I have ever seen a ride do Scott " Im sure Robb and Elissa would agree " Brown
