The Whizzer because I need to go right now -
Yeah but all of the tornados seem to be hitting up here =( I bet a tornado down there would make the air clear for like a minute though, and with any luck take Psyclone with it. Scott " how ironic hoping a tornado will hit psyclone" Brown

Dude in 1999 a tornado hit within a mile of me in Sunnyvale

YOU WERE IN YOUR CRIB? Crap I was in 6th grade It was initially a 7.1 but I think it ended up being a 6.9 and that little 4. in Gilroy sucked I was living less than a mile from the epicenter and we got quite a nasty quake where I was

According to rcdb, the Tidal Wave/GL was 137 feet tall. That's 13 feet under the SFMW height limit, and shorter than both V2 and Medusa. And yeah, I understand that SF doesn't own the thing, so does anyone know just why it ended up in their parking lot? I just went through all of my pictures and no matter what angle the picture was from the Tidal wave tower is taller than the towers on Invertigo so I think the stats on RCDB may be wrong. As far as it being rebuilt Duane that where will it go statement has been on RCDB for a while however having been a former ride op of that ride and seing what it's present condition is and how much of it is missing and knowing it's high operation and maitenience costs let alone lack of replacement parts I can say with 99% confidence that it is spare parts and scrap as sad as I am to say that

No we are talking about the Real Oktoberfest in Germany
-
Ahhh I'm German I can handle my beer, but I don't really drink so it shouldn't be a problem Scott " Ulcers put an end to drinking for me" Brown
-
and Beer don't forget the Beer, nothing is more fun than slamming a beer and getting on somthing with a Huss sign on it Scott " Elissa Loves Huss rides " Brown

Its just sad the Intamin ride didn't deliver, speaking of which do you by chance know how tall the Blue tower was
-
but was it fun or did it suck like the other as I seem to remember you calling them "Togo death machines"
-
Hey anyone out there been to the Oktoberfest before, we are hoping to go next year
-
Whats the Deal with the Surf coaster in Japan, it looks remarkably smooth but the layout seemed odd to me are there three helixes in there
-
The two that stand out in my mind is Elissa on Batman and her saying at the end "That was great" in what came across to me as a very sarcastic get the camera out of my face tone, and Robb on Ghostrider (probably opening year) overdramatizing the entire ride with Elissa in the seat next to him
-
I think as far as forces yes it is weak, but as far as directional changes and disorientation and a unique layout this ride has it made, it would probably be the perfect B&M if it just had a bigger drop to send it around the course with enough speed to provide high Gs and make the directional changes mean somthing.
