I used to be afraid of coasters, not because of heights, simply because I was afraid it would be too intense.

Soemtimes if I see a first timer who is excited about their first ride I talk to them. If I see someone who is nervous, I do the same. I'm also rather nosy. I listen to what other people talk about.

That is too make sure you aren't overwhelmed by the ride. In order to be safe, they require that your body gets up to walk around in between rides to give it a chance to recover.

I ordered a Scorpion kit on Friday, it will most likely be arriving today. I can't wait to build it and take pictures. I'll post them in this thread.

That picture is awesome. And actually, you stay REALLY dry unless you sit in the back row. Then you get a tiny mist of (very warm) water on the back of your legs. Does anyone know the wingspan of those dive machines? They look at least around 16 feet wide. *Jumboshrmp is REALLY excited about this ride*

I'm sure glad that the company that built those models doesn't build REAL coasters! Did you see some of them? That would hurt! Look at the sharp turn in the entrance to that Quad loop.

I swallowed an entire piece of looseleaf paper once. I had to eat it in tiny pieces, and put it inside other food to do it though. It wasn't the most pleasant thing in the world, and I had a weird stomach ache for a little while, but it was really funny.
