  1. I like the B&M restraints on inverted and floorless coasters. Is it just me, or do these restraints feel better than the ones on sit downs? By the way, when i first saw this topic, I thought it was about restaurants.
  2. I was quite surprised with the airtime in this. I had never been on a premier coaster before, but there was quite a lot of airtime. Maybe this was just because I was riding B&Ms all day, but the airtime was quite surprising.
  3. I agree. It didn't seem very realistic on my first ride, but the more and more I ride it, the more realistic it seems. The first time I rode, most like the reason why I wasn't as amazed by the drop was because I was expecting some sort of airtime.
  4. You actually dont need the glasses to enjoy the ride, it just makes it a lot better.
  5. I prefer Spiderman. Both vehicles use a motion base, however the base on spiderman is much mores sophisticated. DINOSAUR doesn't have much interesting to look at. It's dark most of the time. In spiderman, there is always something cool to look at, as the action never lets up for a second. Honestly, I could go on forever listing reasons why Spiderman is my favorite ride ever... roller coaster, or not. Sure, spiderman doesn't have any Audio Animatronics, but a 3D character can do SO MUCH MORE. The interaction between the 3D world and the real one is so well done. I honestly forget that what I am watching is just a 3D projection. And, the motion is so well timed with the camera angles, even if you aren't wearing 3D glasses everything seems to move around with you, like its real.
  6. Ok, so which ride do you think is better? Please vote honestly, even if you don't want to post.
  7. Well, I've only been on three, Montu, Dueling Dragons Fire and Ice. But if I had to put them in an order I would have to say: 1)Montu 2)Dueling Dragons Fire 3)Dueling Dragons Ice I really want to ride Alpengeist, though I like the look of Montu's layour more.
  8. Okay this pic is seriously cool. That was the last coaster I went on.
  9. This isn't a coaster, but on Dr. Doom's Fear Fall, when you get at the very top, you fly WAY out of your seat.
  10. I'm 15, I will be 16 soon, and my First coaster was the Omega side of Space Mountain at Walt Disnety World. It scared the crap out of me. I wouldn't ride it again until I was 13. A year later, I rode Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, and I was no longer afraid of inversions. Later, I rode my first B&M, and now I'm not afraid of any ride.
  11. Wow. I never knew that it took such a complex setup to mount a camera to film POV.
  12. I don't have nearly as much coaster experience as everyone else (I have ridden everything in Florida and thats it). But, the three coasters with the bets airtime here are Sheikra, Kraken, and Revenge of the Mummy. The first drop on Kraken (in the back seat), is insane. It's the first time I ever shouted on a coaster. The fact that your feet don't touch the floor makes it even better. On Sheikra, you can avoid the airtime, ANY seat will give you a great ride. B&M shapes their drops perfectly, and it gives a very pure sense of airtime. On Revenge of the Mummy (Florida, not Hollywood), the drops are a lot more noticeable then I thought. For example, on most curved B&M drops, such as the ones on Kumba, The Incredible Hulk, and Dueling Dragons, you don't feel much airtime, except a tiny bit of floater air on the way down. However, on Revenge of the Mummy, I came way out of my seat. It really makes me want to ride another Premier LIM coaster NOW!! Inversions and airtime. They are rarely ever found in the same place
  13. A pretzel loop is pretty much impossible on any type of style except flying. Of course, you probably were just being sarcastic.
  14. I also definitely prefer the park videos. The fun and humor were what got me hooked on this site. I would love to see the cedar point videos. Could someone host it on someplace so I could see it? Just don't use putfile, it never works.
  15. Let's see... I have to break this up into five categories: Best Overall: Sea Paradise/CosmoWorld. I have never heard of any of these parks before seeing this video, but the music, and combination of f=rides, games, the city, and people having fun make this the best. I also like the automatic popcorn machine, the Diving coaster vanish, and the boat jumpers. Second Best: Hades, Burn in Hell. This would be #1, but it moves down, simply because I don't like hell. The song itself is awesome, but the lyrics... I don't wanna think about hell.... Best Footage: Space Mountain with lights on. This can't be beat. Unless you get some video of the WDW Space Mountain before it closes for it's complete rehab next year. Funniest: Farup Sommerland. I love the Monkey bars. Best Ending: Europa Park. I'm not going to quote the ending, but it is the funniest "shoot" I have ever seen.
  16. WOW! Can you say "future Imagineer"? future imagineer That would be AWESOME!
  17. I was at WDW again yesterday. I totally forgot while I was in the park, but as soon as I left.... ahhhh not again....
  18. I love the airtime you get on those B&M dive coasters
  19. Good luck! Wow... I'm pretty much in the same exact situation....
  20. Would this be the one you are talking about? Clickady-click Yes it may be cruel but its a classic, I cried with laughter when I first saw it. I have that exact game. Look at the above post to find it.
  21. This was nothing compared to this: http://www.winterrowd.com/maze/ That is the scariest thing ever. Only click that if you want a good scare. Concentrate on the maze and have your speakers up. It jumps out at you at the end of level 4. One guy actually convinced me there was a picture of a hot chick at the end of the maze. Man did I feel like a dumbass after falling for that.
