No. But I do count each of my rides, and input them into coastercounter. To this day, I still have an accurate count of exactly how many times I've been upside down. -

SLC's really that bad?
Jumboshrmp replied to jmccalip's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
OH MY GOD! Porcupines? Sorry, to sound random or off topic, but I absolutely love porcupines, and I can't believe that you put that as an answer, that sounds like something I would do. Whenever my parents tell me to do something I dont want to, I say porcupine. Porcupine? OMG! Thats what I say... What made you think of that? Anyway, I dont think that SLCs are that bad. -

Well, even though I do like to ride just for fun, if I did go to a park, I still would ride everything, just so I COULD say I rode it. Maybe not the kiddie coasters, but if I went to cedar point, I would make sure I rode evrerythikng, just so I could say I rode everything. -
Speaking of Zero G Rolls, can anyone who has repeatedly been on a bunch of B&M coaster answer my question? Do Zero G Rolls vary greatly in size on different coasters? I know that some are higher and some are lower, but how about size? I noticed on kraken, the floating and disorienting feelings were much more noticeable, however, on the hulk, it was more af a feeling of getting puled down and around in a circle. What makes this difference?

Wow, I just read another 10 pages of the Hobbit, now I've gotten to page 63. God, this book is torture. Every once in a while I'll come to a good part where I can figure out what is going on, but the author gives me no sense of who is actually in the story.

Is "fart" a swear word? Why do you have to censor it?

^ A little bit better. But you still need to remove all traces of nature from that picture.

You have a mac, and you get pop ups? Wow. I use Safari on Mac, and get no pop ups. I use fire fox on windows, and get at least 5 a day. Whatever you do, don't use firefox for mac. Firefox is much better than Internet Explorer, however Safari is still way better than Firefox.

Dive machines as well. I found SheiKra's immelmann to be much better on the right. -
Are there any parks open in the winter?
Jumboshrmp replied to Jumboshrmp's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
For all of those parks that have rides closed, is the admission any less? -
Maybe they could make "hip" movie versions too.... Of course. Why else do you think the second versions of Freaky Friday and The Parent Trap were so much better than the original? I went into reading that book thinking it would be good. Talk about disspointing.

Honestly, I have a very wide vocabulary, and I enjoy long books, however, one of the reasons why the Harry Potter novels are so great is because they are filled with dialogue as opposed to pages of boring descriptive text. What i will be honest with, is that I can't stand clasic novels. These things need to be re-written for current audiences. I can understand where Shakespeare was coming from, and people say that I will appreciate it when I'm older, but they are slightly misunderstood. I appreciate his message now, but attempting to understand his message isn't worth it if I have to interpret ancient styles of writing. Anyway.... Why make a novel challenging, when you can still write it for adults and make it excellent? I like long books. As long as I enjoy reading the book itself. I want to motivated to turn the pages by something other than a desire to finish it as soon as possible. (By the way, I really enjoy this conversation, I am not saying anyone else is wrong, I'm simply stating my opinion. Please continue to discuss if you feel I don't understand.)

The only one I've been on is Dr. Doom's Fear Fall. The launch is good and the pop of ejector air at the top was very unexpected, but the actually feeling of falling is not there.
