How the hell could I have forgotten Frank Caliendo, from MadTV and Fox NFL Sunday?! I'm also into Steven Colbert and Steve Carell.. his "DooDooCaCa" scene from Bruce Almighty is classic. I have yet to see the sequel.

TPIR's next host will most likely be under age 50. I've heard a lot of great suggestions, but I'm sure the producers are looiking for someone with great longevity like they had with Bob. This isn't to necessarily say that TPIR's next host will be chosen in the 70th anniversary season on CBS, but you get my point. Tood Newton could be a great choice for that reason.

I can easily name two of Beech Bend's coasters: Looping Star and Dragon. And I haven't ridden Tomb Raider since last year at Kings Island - although I visit the park weekly. What a colossal waste of money and space.

I find it funny that they even sold T-shirts for Head Spin, let alone for Steel Venom or X-Flight. I also find it odd you're wearing a Son of Beast shirt in the TR (I guess you mus like it!) Hell, I wish Cedar Point would sell Gemini T-shirts - that ride is more noteworthy than some of GL's coasters.

A list of things to make the Racer more noteworthy: - Paint the handrails blue, and track red. - Ditch the headrests. Many well-run parks don't need these monstrsities to have safe coasters. - Have more enthusiastsic ride operators. Cedar Point has a great racing coaster with great people. - Ditch the Paramount Parks shirts NOW! I know that they will be replaced by next season, but IMO they look bored in these shirts! - RACE the damn ride every time. Get a "greeter" at the entrance so that everyone in line is tall enough to ride. And how does the "Beastie at Paramount's Kings Island" not have Coaster Classic status anymore. It's no different than Scooby-Doo at Kings Dominion....

I changed the topic title to "Should Rosie host TPIR?" It's obvious that she could, but to answer the question, I don't think she should. I don't have the issue with her gender, size, or sexuality, but of her behavior on The View and elsewhere.

Applebee's served ANOTHER kid alcohol in a sippy cup?! Didn't this happen before, like a couple of years ago? Letterman made fun of the original incident, including a sketch at Rupert Jee's Hello Deli, "What's in the Applebee's Cup?"

And let me say that it's always to see other people's pics, even if they just remind us of our own experience. This year's CoasterMania was an event to remember for me, especially with Maverick, even though I was horribly worn out well before night ERT arrived. For lunch, I don't think I have everseen that many enthusiasts assembled at one time! "The power of free food!" The highlight for me was Maverick - not because it was the new coaster, but because it was such an excellent coaster. I will agree with some of my friends that it was the best coaster that Cedar Point added in almost 15 years. In fact, it's given my other CP favorite, Gemini, a "run for its money." MF is great, but it's engineered for speed, not thrills and force, IMO. TTD goes high and fast. Maverick is fast-paced, full of air, and doesn't slow down where it shouldn't. The park's saying "The Old West Was Never This Wild!" is an undertstatement! I also saw a good deal of fun-loving, smiling, happy, friendly employees, from the rides, to the food stands, and more. I lost my CoasterMania lanyard in the evening, went to guest relations, and walked out with a replacement in a couple minutes! Probably my one real issue of the day: restrooms. Is it just me, or is three toilet stalls in the men's rooms inadequate? I also wasn't pleased with overflowing and shut down toilets throughout the park. I guess the bathrooms at GL the day after, and even at KI the day before, spoiled me.

Actually, it is the one from Legend, as the cars have the closed fronts on them. Villain's trains (and the third one used on RWB) have the open bars on the front of each car. I rode RWB in the former Villain train somewhat before the incident, and noticed the ride was pretty wild on some turns, but not really uncomfortable. I also saw a fast glimpse of the train (then covered up) from riding Dominator...

I have a strong preference for the Mac. I'll use Windows whenever I have to, or find it more convenient, XP is OK. I've tried out Vista in a store once, but still prefer the Mac OS, which will get even better once Leopard comes out this October.

The log flume has several lift hills, but only one notable drop. The only men's restroom has a row of toilets without any partitions, and I had to go after eating a big meal at one of their stands.
