  1. It is a very nicely done website, take the 2 minutes to register.
  2. Oh dear God, there goes the classic feel of Comet Hollow!!!! I really hope this isn't how it is gonna turn out.......GAWDY
  3. Quite honestly I prefer KD's lineup to BGW. At least KD has wood. Dominator is awesome, Shockwave is classic, and call me crazy, but Grizzly kicks ass!
  4. Go back to the original pic that had the King Kobra on one side, and a bright white with red and blue trim Rebel Yell on the other................Those were the days. Apple Turnover and the Monster along with Galaxie and the big slide is what made the midway what it was, not the crap they have rammed in there now.....

  9. Yeah, I know what you mean. We just went down to Richmond Saturday for the NASCAR race and just as it always is, I start to get giddy going down I-95 and seeing the Eiffel Tower poking up through the trees. Panoramic pics like this look good as do nice aerial shots.
  10. I believe the roughness factor really depends on a persons size. What we tall people find smooth, someone shorter like my wife gets the headbanging from the restraints due to where they land around her head. On woodies, it all depends on whether or not you are sitting above a wheel assembly from my experience. Sure there are some rides out there that just plain beat the crap out of you, but there are some people out there who kinda enjoy that sort of thing.....
  11. ^ It kinda looks big and bulky, somewhat out of place???
  12. Also he mentions something along the lines of "hundreds" of feet off the ground or above the forest floor, something like that, in the letter. Just noticed, in the research thingy, 2 times it says 2004. Why are there dots in the 0's???
  13. You know, the Pirat/swinging ship rides make more sense when there is water available to give it that feel of being on the ocean. Props to CP for their "theme" working right!
  14. Just got this email today. sounds like a winner to me. Hope the link opens, if not just say so and I will try to fix it. Mods, if this is not the right place, feel free to move it or delete the thread....... https://app.e2ma.net/app/view:CampaignPublic/id:33398.9289914334/rid:5dd01b9194b3fed0e80043e3807623eb
  15. ^^ WOW! The comments at the bottom of that news story link you posted was some serious Hershey bashing!! Quite frankly, it is one of the best value destinations in that area. There is so much to see and do you can almost spend 3 or 4 days, and it is a hell of alot cheaper than most other vacations.
  16. “The only other time I had ever seen one was as a lead-in to Hersheypark’s last big coaster, Fahrenheit, and that one was ... very mild by comparison to where I think this one is heading,” Hart said in an email. This sentence caught my eye from the newspaper article last page......
  17. That hidden code under the logo isn't some sort of longitude/latitude code is it?? I really think imo that B&M is too bulky for that area of HP. It would just stick out like a sore thumb. I know GB is there, but to go @ sdL and Comet it would just be so out of place. Something sleek and thin needs to wind back through that space.
  18. Does the symbol in the shield of the RIT logo mean anything to anyone. I know I have seen that somewhere before???
  19. Is that ALL you noticed? How comes sometimes when the page is loading something flashes under the RIT logo. It looks like ------2037, but I can't read that damn fast???
  20. ^ I like it. Kinda reminds me of a mix between old school rap and modern day techno!
  21. Not me, I proudly sport my coaster gear like a true geek!!!! LMAO
  22. Yeah those ones are pretty gaudy.. I think the one I'm going to get is the brown one I took a pic of by itself. They had at least 3 or 4 other shirt designs too but I forgot to get pics of them all (the heat from the day totally zapped my energy). They also have plastic tumblers and water bottles. I wanted a little cheetah plush, but they were all sold out. No Cheetah, but there is some cool stuff here..... http://buschgardensshop.com/category/47461247821/1/Toys.htm
  23. This is why "shoes and shirts required at all times" was invented... LMAO. That is pretty disgusting....
