Beans are good for you, what degree more than anyone else is you knowledge base, and are you going to ECB? Looking forward to hopefully low crowds to mini marathon sdL again. In another thread, someone was looking for pics of the old Coal Shaker ride, can anyone help out. I would like to see some too as I remember riding it as a kid, but that was many years ago. -

For the last few pages, you seem to let on that you already know exactly what is coming?? Care to spill some beans???? -
If the cost of maintenance would be the reason for removal, why in the hell would they send it to another park in the same chain? Now they not only have the cost of removal/reassembly, but they still are going to have to maintain it....although in a different location. Still the same pockets the money comes out of????02

No, it would not ruin the fun, and you need to share that tequila or else send a beer my way!!!! Are we going to know anything before ECB? I thought the announcement was the 12th, but somewhere above someone said something about the 2nd? Misprint? -

Read the CTP letter with the questions, and the CTP recruiting letter. it's all right in front of your eyes. I mean that. Any closer, and I'd be able to read it here in Arizona! So what exactly do you know?? Whisper, I won't tell anyone ..... -

What the hell is he talking about in that journal of floating cranes and hovering dump trucks?? Dude is smoking something different than I !!!!! -
Maybe they could just fix up Roar a little and add MF trains to it. That would be a substantial improvement! To be honest, any kind of large scale coaster in that spot where SM was is just gonna look tacky. It is right in the middle of everything else. A small footprint ride is what needs to go there. Save the next biggie for out back around Superman and Batwing.

I know that. I just don't see where one gets the idea that KD has "2 fantastic wooden coasters". Rebel Yell front seat in the dark, Grizzly back seat in the dark = awesome -

Any idea what caused this? -
Actually, due to a couple of special things the park wanted to do with the group, I had to cap this bash event lower than any others. The upside is that we'll be able to do a couple of cool things that we couldn't do with a larger group, the downside is that some people waited to late to get tickets. Sorry to everyone who has emailed me today about getting tickets, I'm sorry that the event sold out, but I think I've made it so clear that if you are interested in this (or any TPR) event, DO NOT HESITATE TO GET YOUR TICKETS!!! What kind of cap are we looking at out of curiosity? Just booked 2 nights at Knights Inn down Chocolate Avenue for 155 total both nights. Gotta get good night sleep for the fun......anyone gonna be in town Saturday night and wanna hit some local bar or tavern LMAO!!!!

Just got our tickets squared away!!!! WOOHOOO 1st TPR trip ever, looking forward to a fun day. Is anyone staying overnight around the area. I was wondering how hotels were with the race going on right up the road. I wanted to make a day of it, but the wifey is afraid to let me drive back home! Looking for el cheapo hotel for a few hours. She wants Marriott, I could settle for Red Carpet Inn again. That was an experience to never be remembered anytime soon LMAO!!!!

I think this is peoples biggest issue. They go there thinking of other parks and that is where the "disappointment" comes in. I like it for what it is and it would be "the" park if these others didn't exist so close. I don't think they ever set out to be like the rest, so I give them credit for at least having the park there that is actually different than the rest. I wouldn't want every park to be themed or set up the same as the next, that would be boring.....

Not to sound too dumb, but most of the complaining about food prices is coming from younguns or single people. Try this with a family of 4!! I don't care how bad McD's of BK is, that is what the kids are getting for lunch somewhere really close to a park we visit. My dad taught me long ago that it is not bad to pay alot for a meal, as long as it is worth it. No park food is worth it with very few exceptions. On a side note to any SFMM employees, is there a discount offered to you on food. From my past at CP we had a few "backside" places we could get the same park food like 80% less. The Stockade stand over near CCMM was one of them.

I am so torn on whether to register now or wait another week. I have 4 entries into various contests to win a trip to Hershey. One of them is a Pocono race weekend special with tickets to the park and an all weekend exclusive to the NASCAR race that same weekend! My wife is actually wanting to sign up........she has no idea what would be in store for her!!! LAMO Hanging with a bunch of crazies!!!!!
