  2. http://www.cagreatamerica.com/ Here is a link to their website, they are hiring, and they have 2011 season passes on sale. Why is everyone contemplating where the rides are going when apparently they will still be operating at the same location?? Yes, this is somewhat of a sarcastic joke, just kinda wondering....
  3. Just sent a new 1, hope I can win a bag o crap!!!!!
  4. Wifey and I on Storm Runner on a very cool(damn cold) Halloween weekend night at Hersheypark. She is in the blue hoodie, I am sporting my TPR hoodie. Don't know the guy in front of us but he looks like he is quite constipated LMAO!! No she isn't crying, she is just getting used to all of the coasters, she got a late start in life.....

  6. It really sux living here on the east coast doesn't it? Seems like such a long time between rideable weather......

  8. The only SLC I have ridden is Mind Eraser at SFA along with the Two-Face ride. It wasn't that bad if you can prepare for the roughness of it. I have been on 1 BTR clone and that was a long time ago. I have ridden numerous inverts though and although they are smoother, I think if Vekoma would put together some different layouts and more custom type SLC's it might make a better argument. I don't really know if it is the transitions on SLC's that are so bad or if it has to do with the train design, but to me, Vekoma rides look alot better and offer more potential with the length of the train as far as ride experience goes.
  9. For some reason in the Paramount years I believe they turned them purple and black......
  10. I believe Grizzly and Demon were there long before Paramount. I also remember seeing old pics of Whizzer and there was no station so to speak of for it either.
  11. ^ Agreed, with the color track and wood supports, it just kinda blends in with the natural scenery and doesn't look all gaudy and outlandish.
  12. Less than 10 seconds for the entire page all the way to Z on my Firefox. Actually was a lot faster than most PTR's. I could scroll along with it and it did not hinder the progress any....
  13. June 12, August 7, 2011 If you are not a NASCAR fan these are the days to go. They are racing up in Pocono those 2 weekends and I would imagine Sunday to be pretty much dead at the park.
  14. ^No, Cedar Fair decided against that I believe, they are both forwards now. It is still an awesome ride, and Grizzly really can't be beat for the night rides which are totally insane!
  15. Wow, that makes me want to jump up and run right down there now!!!! Can't they just get on one of those used ride sites and buy something cheap already? FFS, at least an old Chaos or Wipeout would be better than nothing!
  16. Underwater tunnel? Sounds pretty awesome or an inverted!!!!
  17. ^ That was pretty good.....but I kinda lost it at the solo. It didn't seem to fit the rest of the song. Disturbed has pulled off a few good cover tunes over the years BTW. http://www.coversproject.com/artist/disturbed/
  18. ^ Is that place that was called Sport's City down on 250 still there? When I worked up there we used to frequent that place a lot, as well as Goofy Golf up closer to the park. It had and awesome kart track. If you know where to go, there were quite a few places that were open all night and that is where most of the employees went to eat after a long day. But then again, this was way back in 93....... Did a little searching....nevermind http://www.sportcity.com/ http://sanduskygoofygolf.com/index.html
  19. In pretty much all of my visits, I have never really experienced any "lengthy" lines that would necessitate a reason for any kind of pass. I am not sure about Saturdays in the summer as I tend to avoid parks at that time anyhow.

  22. http://www.guntherhall.com/ Check out this site, even though some of the books may be old and dated, they are still very good reads.
  23. 17/20 some guesses, some help
  24. I know there is a joke in here or one coming soon, but what they really need to do with that area is get the trees back in. Grizzly is so much nicer when it is hidden from view. It helped to build some anticipation for the ones who never rode it before, and now that area just looks so out of place and almost ghetto. The Windseeker/Star Flyer would work in a tree filled environment.....rising up above the tree tops and swirling around with all that ground cover below would be pretty sweet.
  25. They should paint it Laser's old colors for a tribute......maybe they should just get Laser back!!!!!
