  1. YES! I get a place in the stupid things thread! I'm truly honored, Larry. I try my best.
  2. NERD!!! From East Coast Bash. I have since misplaced my trophy somewhere in my house.
  3. You recall correctly, if I recall correctly. Skyrush looks TWISTEEEEE!
  4. AAAAH! A Top Fun Blizzard! KILL IT WITH FIRE!
  5. Tonight I can be there for a half hour and tomorrow I'm available for the whole time though I may be five or so minutes late. EDIT: The text-chat component of the live chat - will that be in the regular TPR Chatroom channel or will it be in a separate one?
  6. I don't know if Bryan (Not_For_Sale) said anything, but TPR member "Astros" has been a royal pain in chat recently, especially last night, to the point where he wouldn't stop yammering about this park project in a plea for attention. I understand that there's an ignore button, and that's what I told people who were annoyed by him to do. I believe he was issued a ban from chat, but I went in and out last night because I was working on something for school.
  7. Someone needs to let me be their "guest". Pretty please.
  8. Looks more like an old-style boardwalk park. My favorite!
  9. That Topspin knockoff looks like it's missing two harnesses. They seem to have replaced them with...backpack straps?
  10. No love for the loop-screw over top of the brake run. You all are haters.
  11. AAAAHHHH OKTOBERFEST. I need to get my German friend to smuggle me over there so I can go to Oktoberfest next year. Although, if I went, I'd probably be one of the few people in the fair who wouldn't have a beer. Is the whole "Oktoberfest = Beer" thing just a stereotype?
  12. I wouldn't call your video series "secrets and scandals" because that really makes things sound negative. I'd call it "behind the scenes" or "behind the magic" or something similar. It's a neat idea though, because there are plenty of people who would be interested in that sort of thing - especially students. As for actual content, I wish I could give you some ideas, but I'm a big fan of "protecting and preserving the magic" as I'm still a cast member at Magic Kingdom.
  13. +1 to that. Triple Thrill Pack works great on my Windows 7 Professional partition.
  14. It seems like the experience would be better if the station was on the path of an ellipse or arc. The way it is with this (and the impulse coasters) is you have the airtime, then a spike of Gs, a brief moment of 1G, then the spike again, then the airtime again. Some cheap-o flat ride company makes a deathtrap called "G Force" that has the same sort of straight track before the spikes.
  15. YES. It looks like it will be a fantastic stress reliever for any occasion. Those guys are good!
  16. DING DING DING! We have a winner! Leviathan was obviously not designed on a flat, rectangular plot with nothing in it, so they designed the ride to fit the irregular plot they had. Obviously, the only way it could fit was to elevate the brake run.
  17. I'm not a fan of Silver Bullet's paint scheme. The trains aren't even silver, and the lift is painted entirely red for some reason (someone tell me why please, it will drive me crazy all day tomorrow).
  18. It's really nice to see classic bumper cars as opposed to those air-hockey-flying-saucer thingies. Also nice to see - there's a Nicktoons Racing arcade game sneaking out from behind a wall! I remember playing that game on my old Playstation!
  19. I just noticed that the Stinger logo looks like a cobra roll. Nice. As for Dinosaurs Alive, I'm all for it. Spread the money-maker around.
  20. Please pardon my stupidity, but where did the "A" in "NTAG" come from?
  21. From what I've learned, fabricating the curved track would cost more than straight track. Also, not only would it cost more because of the curved track, it would cost more because the curved hills would actually add to the ride's length. Honestly, as much as I poke fun of this ride, everyone who is actually complaining about the "outrageously long brake run that would that should be replaced by something cooler because I can't appreciate the ride for what it is now" needs to get over themselves. You're all like whiney babies. It's a B&M, it's over 300 feet tall, it's got a smooth, flowing layout with what looks like some great moments of airtime, and it has the traditional 4-across seating (which I like). What's there to complain about? ~A. "Someone nominate me for post of the day for this, I've had a bad day and need a pick-me-up before I hurt myself" J.
  22. What's a little depressing is that some people who comment stuff like that on roller coaster videos are doing it to troll and make people afraid, because they get some sort of sick pleasure out of it.
  23. None. I don't have any sources, at all...
  24. You really need to make sure you keep your G-forces controlled throughout the ride. 1.4-1.7 Gs laterally is very jarring. Negative 1.8 vertical Gs isn't as bad though. You need to construct your ride as if you were sitting in the car yourself. "How would I feel if I was thrown to the side of the car with 1.7 times my own weight? Wouldn't that hurt?"
  25. Congratulations, you made an impossible roller coaster. I like the layout, though.
