  1. One roller coaster/amusement park dream I can remember was being on a ride that was very similar to the Penguins Blizzard River at Six Flags America, yet heavily themed like Journey To Atlantis. The last drop went into a tunnel lit up in fluorescent blue lights and we arrived back to the station on a Millennium Flyer (WTF? I know). Random, but awesome dream!
  2. ^Ditto. Can't wait to see them in action!
  3. B&M Inverts have become one of my favorite rides. Been on Montu, Alpengeist, and both sides of Dragon Challenge, and all of them are fun in their own ways. I've yet to go on a Batman clone though.
  4. Kraken is a great ride, it's my second favorite floorless, even though I've only been on three. Still won't forget my first couple rides in the rain.
  5. A couple new photo's from KD's Facebook Things are looking good.
  6. Pardon Me-Incubus
  7. ^Manta is an excellent flying coaster as well. Sure the theming has a lot to do with it, but I think the layout itself is pretty fun. Standups I could care less for. I'd like to see old fashion carnival rides be remade into amusement park flats like a newly made Zipper or Skydiver.
  8. Even though I rarely drink, I have at least five shot glasses from when I went to Chicago. I have two Raging Bull, one with just Six Flags Great America on it and a Mt Olympus one I believe. I'll have to find them and post a picture.
  9. Yes! I remember riding Sheikra last year and seeing the whole front row covering their eyes as we got to the top.
  10. Coat hanger technology. The original Rattler looked pretty bad I thought.
  11. Scorpion at BGT is one of my favorite compacts.
  12. I've only been on four (Montu, Dragon Challenge and Alpengeist), and I have absolutely no problem with and kind of head banging. Alpengeist's cobra roll has a slight rattle but nothing I'd consider rough. The one thing I really like about these new trains is the fact there's a better view for those that aren't in the front.
  13. "GENTELMEN! START YOUR ENGINES!" The most annoying thing I've encountered at theme parks are the people who stand in line, not paying attention that the line has moved a good 30 feet. I still remember waiting in line for Batwing at SFA last year and there was three people standing there watching the ride. After me and my friends asked them to move up, they looked at us with no expression, not even a single word, looked back at the ride and still stood there while the rest of the line was already almost in the station. They didn't even move up till they watched the ride make it to the final brake run. This was the only time I was ever tempted to line jump.
  14. I remember when Arrow was bought out by S&S, I thought they would start making the traditional Arrow loopers, hypers since they continued with the 4D coasters. It would've been awesome to see more rides like Tennessee Tornado. As story goes. This debate has been going on for a while whether it was an originally an Arrow project or B&M.
  15. ^Agreed, it's not worth the upcharge imo. Last time I did go karts was at Mt Olympus and the damn thing broke before I even left the starting line.
  16. ^I just wish Opryland was still around. I never got to visit the park, but from what I've seen from pictures/videos it looked like a park I'd be willing to visit every year. I miss the Big Bad Wolf, one of the best roller coasters at night.
  17. Can we trade Mach Tower for this? I'm in love with the color scheme too, it looks amazing!
  18. Great TR. I love the theming to this park, especially FOTR's queue.
  19. I'm not a fan of drop towers but this looks amazing. I can't wait to see this ride in action!
  20. I've only been on two (Whizzer and Scorpion). Both ended up being a lot better than I expected.
  21. This! We need an RMC on the east coast.
