  1. I was watching the Superman El Ultimo video and couldn't help but notice how awesome the pre-lift is. I don't know what it is, but I always like a roller coaster with a nice pre-lift.
  2. ^^When I was at SFNE earlier this year, I kept seeing teenagers running through out the park dribbling basketballs over park benches, railings and even little kids. I don't understand the ignorance of people. People who smoke in non designated areas, is probably my biggest pet peeve by far. I used to smoke for about two years (Going almost a year clean), but never did I once think about leaving a smoking area, as even then I knew how much others can't stand the habit. The last time I was on the Loch Ness Monster at BGW, the ride op that was supposed to be checking the restrains on my side of the train, was to busy flirting with girl behind the control booth. After the other ride op, who was doing a great job btw, was done checking the restrains on his side of the train, he ended up having to check the half of the other side of the train too since the other one was still to busy trying to impress the girl, who looked really annoyed too. We sat for a good couple minute, till he realized there was a train waiting to be dispatched because of him.
  3. I gotta go with Burgers, not a big fan of burritos.
  4. Not Falling-Mudvayne
  5. Here's a few honorable mentions: Stanley Falls at BGT-I was surprised at how fast this ride was going through the course after the first drop. Skull Mountain at SFA (Defunct)-I wish this ride was still there. Very unique and had great theming. Journey to Atlantis at SWO-Probably one of the best water rides I've been on (Next to DDRRF).
  6. Do people really find Alpengeist that rough? I've heard the same from many people, but I've yet to find anything uncomfortable about the ride. If anything I usually feel it rattle in the cobra roll when I'm in the back row, but that's it. I can't say anything about the Great Bear since I haven't been on it yet, and hopefully that will change next year. But I've always found GB's layout very unique and loved it's use of the terrain.
  7. I'm pretty sure the longest line I've waited in was Splash Mountain at WDW, 1999. Being I was only six or seven at the time, I don't remember exactly how long we waited, but I'm still sure it was about 2+ hours. I also waited for i305 about an hour and a half the last Saturday of Haunt this year. Back seat at night, totally worth it! As for the slowest, Gwazi takes the cake. What could've easily been a five to ten minute wait turned out to be thirty minutes, due to their check seatbelt first, then lap bars policy.
  8. Yeah i305 was open when I went during Haunt's last weekend, so there should be no problem with i305 being open next season. It would be great to see some of these flats brought back to the parks. Also, KD used to be open on weekends only?
  9. Universal IoA SeaWorld Orlando Busch Gardens Tampa 2 Days Six Flags New England Six Flags America Busch Gardens Williamsburg 2 Days Kings Dominion For me, this was a great year. Pretty much every park except for KD, all had new credits for me.
  10. Nice pictures. Sucks you visited when i305 was down, especially when it's in plain site from almost anywhere in the park. I did enjoy Grizzly this year, I remember it being terribly rough a few years ago.
  11. ^Thanks for posting that. It's funny because yesterday I was looking at pictures of Opryland, trying to get an idea of what this park was like. From what I've seen and heard, it seemed like a great park with a nice collection of rides and entertainment. I wish this place was still around.
  12. I've been on Alpengeist, Montu, and both sides of Dragon Challenge. This was honestly a tough choice between Alpengeist and Montu. Montu maybe a better ride in terms of being forceful, but there's something about Alpengeist that makes me love the ride a lot. It might be a combination of it's layout, theming, and use of terrain. Or it could be the fact it was my first B&M invert, which made me fall in love with them. Still trying to get a Batman credit.
  13. Having been on Apocalypse and Shockwave, I'll go with B&M. But I'm particularly not a fan of stand ups, never did like the concept of them. Shockwave left me a nice bruise last time I went on it and I wouldn't miss it one bit if it ever got torn down.
  14. Nice TR! Wild Adventures looks like a nice park, seems to have a decent line up of rides for both kids and adults to enjoy. I'll be sure to stop by on my way to FL next time.
  15. Cedar Fair: i305 Six Flags: Bizarro (NE) SeaWorld Entertainment: Kumba Universal: The Hulk Disney Parks: Rock N' Roller Coaster
  16. ^^I do love Roar's first drop, especially in the last car. And yes, I remember seeing Fright Fest props during the middle of summer one year in plain sight going over the lift hill.
  17. ^Fantasia Special? Anyways here's some more footage of DF. Christmas Town looks fantastic this year from what I can see. The more pictures I see the more I'm tempted to head down. I'm hoping I get some kind of break and make a visit.
  18. Definitely: Kings Dominion Maybe: Six Flags America Busch Gardens Williamsburg Parks I wanna try an visit: Hershey Park Dorney Park Kennywood Knoebels Six Flags Great Adventure
  19. Say it Ain't So-Weezer
  20. ^^Shame. I liked the Chinese Fireball a lot better. My last roller coaster was i305.
  21. ^^^Yes! I love how Verbolten's trains look. I've always loved the look of Drachen Fire/Cyclone/CB trains. I bet DF's looked even better at night with the LED lights on the side.
  22. In no order: Kumba! This ride is just brilliant. Intimidator 305 Alpengeist Dominator Wild One
  23. ^And a much thank you for this awesome site, Robb! As for rides I'm thankful for: i305 Kumba Alpengeist Montu Manta (SWO) Bizarro (SFNE) Dominator And for Parks: Both Busch Gardens Kings Dominion Hershey Park
  24. I'd also like to add Skull Mountain (SFA). Sure it was a maintenance issue, but it was one of the most unique and probably the best themed ride in the park. LeMans Raceway at BGW is another.
