This isn't about me, I know what kind of fan I am, and I don't need to prove it to anyone. That was simply an example that you can still find ways to see a game no matter the circumstances. This is about you "bleeding scarlet and grey," but not giving a rat's ass about Ohio State's biggest game of the year, and one that could (and did) make or break their season...essentially a mini Big 10 championship.

I was at a baptism in Cincinnati a few weeks ago when the Steelers played the Bucs. There were no TVs or radios, yet I still found a way to see part of the game. Your point? It's ok for you to call people out questioning their fanhood ("Hey stingrock, do you pull for an entire conference or one specific team?"), but when the shoe is on the other foot the whole world comes crashing down? If you truly "bleed scarlet and grey" some "brief vacation" wouldn't inhibit you from seeing at least part of the game, or checking the score every once in a while at the very least.

I beg to differ. Philly has some of the biggest fair-weather fans I have ever seen. All a team has to do is get up by 2 or 3 goals and you can hear a pin drop in the Wells Fargo Center. Essentially the crowd has given up on their team. The Penguins (and mostly any other team, for that matter) could be down by 4 goals and the crowd would still be in it, trying to rally their team. But then again, I guess Philly fans don't really know how to rally their team, because the only chant they seem to know is "Crosby sucks," which has never worked. And I don't know how long you expect that to be, "years from now," but as long as Crosby, Staal, Fleury, and Malkin are on the team, they will not "suck." It will probably be a good 10-15 years before the Penguins have to rebuild their core again.

What's "hilarious" is that the Penguins have completely dominated the Flyers over the past 4 years. 2006/07 - Penguins go 8-0 against the Flyers during the season. 2007/08 - Penguins win their playoff series in 5 games, winning the final game 6-0. 2008/09 - Penguins win yet another playoff series against the Flyers, with Philadelphia blowing a 3 goal lead in game 6 to end the series. Shhhhhh! 2009/10 - Penguins go 5-1 against the Flyers during the season. And winning 5-1 the other night only adds to that.

You honestly can't think his hits on Campbell and Gonchar (only to name a couple) were both clean. Please.

Anyone else pumped for Fallout: New Vegas on the 19th? I know I am.

Are you freaking kidding me? Says the one who's a fan of a team that is known for cheap shots and cheap tactics (heaven forbid Ovechkin actually fight for the puck along the boards instead of cherry-picking all game long)...give me a damn break. Also, that Letang hit was 100% legit, but he got ejected...yet you fail to mention that mistake by the refs. Not to mention, HOW MANY interference calls was Cooke called for (what, 3 or 4?) yet the Isles couldn't capitalize on ANY of those?

Looks awesome! It's been over 4 years since I've been there...definitely have to get out there again! Honestly, it doesn't really matter who has the most coasters, because in the end, we're the ones that "win."

^ That's why the BCS system is so messed up and there needs to be playoffs in college football. You're almost inclined to not only pull for your team, but for your entire conference as well so your national championship argument holds water when selection time comes.

Wiz got a 2 game suspension, if anyone didn't hear. And why would the league look into that? How is that breaking any rules? They are too close to the cap to call anyone up from Albany. That isn't circumventing the cap, it's just poor cap management. In no way, shape, or form is it giving them some sort of advantage. Even so, say it did break a rule, isn't losing punishment enough? They obviously aren't going to be that successful only dressing 15.

What I always thought was funny and interesting about the SEC is the fact that you have these semi-highly touted players going to schools like Florida, Alabama, LSU, etc. destined to only be nothing more than 3rd or 4th stringers. Meanwhile they'd easily, EASILY be starters in some other conferences, like the Pac-10, Big East, Big 10, etc. How many other major conferences can say that? My guess is none.

Oh great, another year of Ohio State getting pummeled in the National Championship by . Sure Alabama lost, but that's what happens when you play real teams. Ohio State fans just need to root for them to lose again so they dont have to deal with the inevitable beating they would take in the championship game.

As said already by many, nothing beats Cedar Point and Six Flags Magic Mountain. My two favorites.

Yeah, I didn't mean to sound nit-picky, but I'm sure 5-10 mph is probably a huge difference when it comes to stress on a steel cable.

And isn't that really the bottom line in the amusement park industry, for people to have as much fun as possible? Does Kings Island still do their dead celebrities display? That was criticized by some, but in the end it was all in good fun and parody.
