  1. Also remember that Holiday World sold two of their three PTC trains from The Voyage before the 2010 season, to make room for the timberliners, leaving them without trains. They had to modify one train from Raven for the Voyage, and then run Raven with a single train that season.
  2. AWESOME! Now hopefully the wild mouse won't have an hour long line in the summer
  3. They are also on the Fly Rider in China, and the new LSM ride in Vialand probably also have them. What I'm really interested in, is if parks with the accelerator trains can upgrade easily to these. I can only imagine how Furius Baco and Speed Monster would ride with these.
  4. There can be all the reasons in the world, it is still embarrassing for the company that they can not get the train they self called "The most revolutionary wooden coaster train …ever" almost 5 years ago to work on rides taller than 50 feet.
  5. I think it's embarrising for GG that it has taken them so long to get the timberliners up and running (soon) on a big coaster. They were annoced five years ago this year.
  6. I would classify a Megalite as a family-thrill coaster. They are certanly not to intense for kids 8 years and up, assuming they have the length. It's a very popular ride at Djurs Sommerland, and most people who rides it are family's with kids that are not to old, and I have never seen anyone coming back crying or something like that, which you can sometimes see on bigger rides. Most people are laughing there asses of. You need to remember though, that they only have a theoretical capacity of 800/h, and that's why you will probably not see one at any of the bigger parks (I have no idea about what capacity Holiday World are looking for in their coasters). This. End of story. So rides like Skyrush and I305 is okay, but not a Megalite??
  7. That looks weird, I have not seen that on any other aqualoop
  8. The restraints has not been changed during the winter.
  9. I'd like to see a giga with inversions. Can you imagine a 200+ feet vertical B&M loop
  10. The ride is testing! Hopefully some park in Europe will pick up on of these as it looks fantastic! Next generation, lap-bar only, wing rider train from intamin. Hopefully they have learned something from Furius Baco! Source
  11. Some new pictures The wave pool is done, and it will have a big stage at the end of it. Cool looking pattern on the race slide. And here is the gigantic play structure heading to the park. The last image is clickable.
  12. This one in Austria is one of my personal favorites! It just looks so impressive.
  13. It's kind of funny to go onto their Facebook and read the comments on these news. A lot of them are simply stupid, and some even on the edge of retarded.
  14. The park was supposed to open this summer, and then the big play structure for next season, 2014. Now they have decided that it will be better to delay the whole park, and open evrtything at the same time, so this won't open until spring 2014.
  15. I have a strong feeling this will be the sleeper hit of 2013,
  16. I'm seriously impressed by the pacing! Well except for the last two hills, but this is a family ride, and I still think this turned out as excellent as it could! Can't wait for June
  17. You're updates never disappoints!
  18. Because the slides at Cowabunga will crap on the ones at Wet'n'Wild. No but Wet'n'Wild is getting some very standard slides, while Cowabunga are getting the more interesting ones.
  19. After a quick look at a pov Anaconda looks like crap and it seems to me it would be a waste of money to re-track it. Either hire RMC to raise the lift hill and change the rest of the layout Six flags style or leave it as it is.
  20. Damn, I hope for the sake of S&S that this is not true, but why else would they sue them?
  21. Great photos! Unfortunately those trims were back when I rode it in September Still awesome tough!
  22. Awesome photos. This is one of the parks in China I would really like to visit.
  23. I read somewhere that it will have the same tophat as Lynet, only bigger.
  24. Great tip, I had not even considered that. Just got home from the airport, and I think I just got lost in all these photos.
