Gröna Lund has the best (and the original) fun house in the world, it is a must do! Liseberg has Spökhotel Gasten (scary house) for an up charge, but it is worth it. Pretty much all the other rides worth doing are very visible, just walk around the parks and you should spot what you are interested in.

I'm very surprised by Thorpe Park. They have been going up for a lot of years, and they are down 10% (1,8 million) even with a brad new wing rider (who they predicted would increase attendanceto 2,3 million) . Sure you can blame the Olympics to some degree, but not that much.

Not really. The track got delivered today, nothing was known about the track yesterday, when he made the post, everything was pure speculation. He turned out to be right, but he still passed out unconfirmed information, as if it were confirmed.

What an awesome photo report! Imagine what a little paint and trees can do, this place looks amazing. The Tornado slide looks like the tallest one I've seen without a lift-hill, I'm getting exhausted just by looking at it! If I were Sea World I would add a belt for it, the experience just gets so much better when you can ride it over and over again without having to worry about the rafts.

I have a question on the more technical side, Shane. Are the two big family slides also manufactured in RTM, or just the body and pipelines slides?

Yes you could, assuming that it's the big dive machine track (like Sheikra & Griffon). If it's smaller track it could still be a small one, like Krake.

Whitewater bay has opened a new tower for this summer. It's a Cannonbowl and the new Pipeline Wave. Looks like Proslide finally has something that can compete with the Boomerango and Super Bowl combo from Whitewater. How does the Proslide Whirlywheel tubes ride? (The round 2-person rafts) Hopefully the new freefall slide at Skara is sucessfull so we can get something like this next. All pictures from the parks Facebook or Proslide.com

The slide is pretty much done, as shown on the parks Facebook. They did a lot more work around this than I thought, and it's gonna look perfect when the grass has grown. Also when looking at the size of the tunnel it seem like it will be an open flume, as opposed to the enclosed one seen in the concept art. I'm much more a fan of open slides when you do a freefall with a launch box. Just look at these from Great America where the water runs down all over the lane, looks awesome!

This is exactly how I feel to. Still I am very thankful to be getting a Wing Rider so close to home.

This footer pretty much confirms that it's a B&M coaster Heide Park is building for 2014. The question is Flyer or Wing Rider? Everybody who claims to have a source says Wing Rider. And some more pictures: Source Hopefully when this thing is finished they can tear down that horrible Big Loop coaster and use the space for something more useful, flowers as an example.

Could be, but both of those cost a ton of money. I'm thinking about a Rocky Mountain, but also this popped up in my mind. I don't think we have one in Europe, and they are common in the US.

I always like M&S spinners the best. This is probably the best ride they could have chosen to replace Hurricane with.
