Yes, they did modify them with a different material, and that's probably what will still be on the ride next season. Designing a new restraints for it will take time. It has to be properly tested so that it is 110% safe, and then the ride has to do all of it's original testing when it was new, again. Sure Skyrush will probably get a newly designed restraint, but probably not for the upcoming season.

Would it be safe to assume that this one, and the one in Texas are the same height, and Six Flags only added a few extra feet for the marketing opportunities?

He most likely did not want to discuss that because he felt the question was unnecessary. If a park wants a hyper coaster sized ride with inversions, there will be one. It's not really B&M's decision.

I also noticed that. My guess for top 5 is I305, Geforce, Skyrush, Bizarro and a Megalite, in no particular order.

My top five 1. Piraten, because it's the best one out there, IMO. 2. Expedition GeForce, because it's the most fun ride in the world. 3. Insane, because it's the most awesome ride in the world. 4. Stealth, simply because the launch is out of this world. 5. Black Mamba, because it has the best atmosphere of any ride I've been on, and it is really fun.

Looks like they are actually doing that insane themeing from the concept art. And concept for the other two rides.

I'm really curious of what coaster they might chose to put in for 2014. From my visit it seems like it would be a really good idea for the park to go with something similar to what Djurs Sommerland is building for next year. Let's hope they will be allowed to build a car park then! But that place is just bad. Like really bad.

Man I love this park when I visited back in '09. The setting for it is so awesome! And to answer you're question, the new slide is an Abyss, built by Whitewater (it's Superior to the tornado's). Did you do the theme park in the Times Square mall as well? The wave pool under the suspension bridge is actually the largest in the world, beating out the one at Disney with something like 500 square feet if I remember correctly.

I don't get this either. Troy has always been vastly overrated for some reason. Your theory might be right. dt I would say that the reason for that is simply because most Europeans have not ridden anything else than the wooden coasters that are here in Europe, witch works in favor of the rides over here.
