I've heard they will open it with the season start in April (and I thought they already confirmed this some time ago). The theming of the ride will be ready in summer, but the ride will be open for the guests. Isn't that what I wrote?

It's a unique arrangement for the B&M hypers, due to the water under the lift, but it was standard for B&M to build their coasters like that in the 90's.

The only reason I can think of for it being stuck like that would be a power failure leading to a miss launch, and then the speed was exactly enough to get it to the top and for the train to be perfectly balanced. But that's kind of a high odds one.

Also a ride a care a lot for. It's very underrated IMO. It's such a shame it got OTSR though.

That vehicle is looking good! I always hated to ride anything but the front on b&m inverts, maybe these will change that.

I have a feeling that we won't see the coaster built, but the park. The area have an insane amount of backpackers coming all the times of the year, and all the cultural stuff gets a bit boring after a while, so I could really see this park successful. I think also a lot of regular tourists visit the area, but I don't know how much. Unlike China, Thailand and Malaysia the people of Vietnamn is still pretty poor, so I think this park would depend on foreigners to survive, at least for the coming decades.

Am I the only one who finds this new addition really pointless? Why add a junior coaster, when you clearly don't need one? Just imagine if they had spent the money on a family flat ride instead, maybe a Mack Twist n Splash?

For all you Florida people! The park will make an awesome addition in 2014 in form of a Proslide Kraken Racer, and it will replace the Bubba Tub slide. Source

Some more photos. Finally a picture from inside the Magic Sphere. I'm still not sure how this slide will work, but it looks really cool. And the rafts it will have. Looks like a clover leaf copy, which is a good thing IMO, as this ride don't have a conveyor belt. It would have been unbearable to carry regular family rafts all the way up (it will still be hell, as the ride starts at 23m/75 feets up). Can't wait to try out this awesome looking playground next christmas. Magic Sphere tube. This tower is really tall. I still can't believe they went without a conveyor belt for the family slide. It's the best accelerator I've ridden (except Stealth, but that's only for the insane launch it has), and one of my favorite rides overall. Kanonen is not even worthy of being mentioned in the same sentence as it. It just has everything. Three awesome inversions, a kick-ass launch, ejector airtime, two really good twisted hills as well as the fast turnaround after the loop. Only sad thing about it is that they have let the Norwegian teens trash the trains really bad, so they are pretty ugly now.
