So Carowinds won? How? Don't get me wrong it looks like a great ride but like Robb said... it was a conservative ride that we've seen before. They didn't do anything daring like Kings Dominion... they build a Giga Coaster and then listened to whiny enthusiasts and continued to modify it throughout the season to make it better (New restraints, moving the brakes around and now changing the entire first turn). I haven't ridden either coaster but unless B&M did something miraculous with Intimidator at carowinds I just don't get that.

I miss heatwave and the parachute drop. It's incredible how far this park has come.

Just emailed him a bunch more times. I know the attention span on the internet is about 2-3 seconds max but we can't give up. If we give up then the terrorists win.

I still can't get over how weird it looks without Scream Machine. This coaster is coming along great though. Can't wait to ride it.

There are terrible web sites... and then there's that. Wow.

Kings Dominion isn't far from Washington DC either if you want to take a day trip there. It's probably only an hour and a half to 11 hours depending on DC traffic. Luckily if the whole family is with you you can use the HOV Lanes on I-95 which are an absolute gift from god. Anyway... I voted for I305 because Carowinds is spamming Facebook with this poll and pissing me off. KD probably is too but I don't "like" them on FB so I don't care.

The one at Geauga Lake was actually pretty good. I enjoyed it, and it was a fun ride. The only other SLC that I've been on is Mind Eraser at SFNE and besides the Great Adventure Viper it's the worst ride that I've ever had the misfortune of riding. I've been on the BTR at SFGADV and SFMM and both were amazing rides. Even the best SLC sucks compared to those rides.

I watched the video and it doesn't load like that for me at all. Does it do that for you every time or once you load it would you need to clear your cache to make it load that slowly again? My guess is that if it still does that once the page is in your cache, you're probably right about the plugin. That makes absolutely no sense otherwise.

I like it... and the best part is that Great Escape sucks so this park should have no problem taking over the market.

3 Seconds for me in Firefox... there's a lot of content on that page, 3 seconds seems on par with every other page. Looks good to me Robb

I'm on Firefox and it's also almost instant.

So happy the Rangers picked up a win tonight against the Caps. We're really struggling too... I'm surprised the Caps didn't put up more of a fight.

Outside of the waterpark and the mouse... I've never seen a line at Dorney unless the waterpark was closed.

It beat out a lot of much newer coasters. Then again... that's probably because those coasters hurt and I'd rather sit on a bench than ride something that's going to give me a massive headache. Still, good for leap the dips though. I really want to ride that one day.

... Which by their standards means it will be open sometime between the weekend after opening day and 2017. (kidding, I know this coaster will probably open in the Spring).

I actually wanted to ask about the Beast (since the site is down for me and has been all day). Did anyone see where it was ranked? I have a different opinion of Beast than you I think so I'm wondering for a different reason . Besides X (Haven't ridden it as X2) and Magnum XL 200 (I like it but let's calm down a little bit... people act like this coaster can walk on water, cure aids and save puppies) I think the Beast is the most overrated coaster I've ever been on. After the excruciatingly painful first hill... I wanted to cry when I remembered that the ride was almost 5 minutes long. RANDOM - One more question since I can't get on the site... where did Leap the Dips finish? Don't ask why, but I really want to know.
