  1. It's the 150th anniversary, you can't go into a monumental milestone like that without a fresh new website that takes the industry by storm.

  2. Park President Jeffrey Siebert has been sharing some wonderful pictures online! (I did mention to him I was going to post them here at TPR)

  3. Chessington World of Adventure has announced their 2021 addition, Croc Drop! https://www.chessington.com/explore/theme-park-zoo/whats-new/ BRAVE THE DROP, RELEASE THE CURSE Set to ‘drop’ in spring, those daring will plunge 25m into the giant jaws of a crocodile, Sobek, the ancient Egyptian Crocodile God and protector of the Nile, who has been possessed by evil spirits, transforming him into a cruel deity. With the once fertile Nile laying stagnant, riders must take part in a ceremony to banish the evil spirits from Sobek, plunging into the crocodile’s soul and freeing the waters back into the Nile. Those between 1.2m and 1.3m must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 16, while those a minimum height of 1.3m can ‘drop’ alone.

  4. Wow, that's a ton of snow. Stay warm! It's crazy that southern Texas is experiencing record low temperatures and record snowfall, whereas here in Utah we are having slushy rain/flurries with temperatures in the upper-30s and an overall severe LACK of snowfall this winter.

  5. I don't believe the mask requirement will be removed until 2022. I wear mine at Dollywood from open to close without any issues. I don't even know it is on. It actually helped keep my face warmer in the colder months.

  6. Easy choice there .... taking out a ride that can't operate in colder weather and putting in a Raptor :)

  7. So THAT'S what Cedar Fair has been doing, instead of planning the 2021 season like everybody else...

  9. Dang, y'all got more snow than Denver did! Similar temps too. Good thing we all postponed our trips.

  10. I've flown on several cheap Spirit flights the last year to various parks. No real complaints. Just like any other airline but cheaper. I'm also the type that boards, throws on headphones, and tries to sleep the whole way. They leave me alone. That's all I ask. I usually have an Ospry Comet pack (30L) packed full and neither Spirit nor Allegiant has ever said anything. I never pick seats; don't care where I (or we) sit for a couple of hours. 3 weeks ago flying to Dallas they gave us the big second row seats randomly. Probably the most comfy flight I've ever done. Only 2 seats where the other rows had 3.

  11. Elissa, did you do the monthly payment plan for the SWSA passes or did you pay outright for the 12 months and are able to continue to renew at SWSA every 12 months without revisiting? Just curious if you HAD to do the monthly payments or not and then continue to do that for eternity. Edit: nevermind, I'm dumb you literally just said monthly payment plan, lol. Also I can't spell.

  12. I know you are getting freakish weather for your neighborhood and I hopefully they don't mess with your power!! ...........BUT you have sun, haven't seen that for ages. The high in the Lou today was 5, with a wind chill of -14. We are getting about 7 inches of snow as well, right now as I look out the window it is snowing sideways. And we are getting more snow on Wednesday, but good news it is looking good for us to get out of here Friday morning and the current forecast for Saturday in San Antonio is almost 55 degrees warmer than it is here right now. Day 10 of below freezing weather.

  14. Exactly. I am 5' 1" and sit so far below the restraints that I was jammed up into them with my shoulders. Being so short I have had the head banging issue on several different rides. Thankfully I have a hard head.

  15. Actually they have been taking some steps to address that issue with TNT. They are also redoing several other support areas around TNT where the construction of Time Traveler was done. Also if Outlaw did get a "retrack" I'm sure it wont be anywhere near the alleged 57% of the coaster as whats being reported with Lightning Rod. Think more around 20% at most.
