P. 410: Discovery Meadow details revealed!

Scramblers are classic flat rides--perfect for almost all ages. I'm not sure I'd call them "exciting," but they are fun.

^This! Most people aren't going to go out of their way for a scrambler, and nobody is going to regard it as the greatest ride ever, but they are a perfect bridge ride that will entertain the whole family without scaring anybody off. I've always enjoyed them, and they're one of my favorite classic flats. It would be a great fit for Kentucky Kingdom, and is somewhat of a less intense version of the Breakdance.

If Kentucky Kingdom is indeed getting a scrambler, and if they're getting something for the waterpark as rumored a little while back, that would make up all of the KingdomSeven attractions. T3, Cyclos, Raging Rapids, Sky Catcher, Enterprise, a scrambler, and a Kraken Racer (or similar)...sounds like it would be an excellent line-up of new for 2015 attractions for the park.

Kentucky Kingdom left two replies to people who asked about the Greezed Lightnin' trains on Kentucky Kingdom's Facebook

*Kentucky Kingdom Stay tuned for updates. Always new and exciting things happening : )

*Kentucky Kingdom Stay tuned! We will keep you posted on all the latest and greatest additions. We are the official source of information so we will be posting the most accurate information!

If one of the new attractions does turn out to be something for the Greezed Lightnin' trains, that would be so awesome combined with T3 and the new rides.

Wow that would be unexpected if they did something with those trains. IDK what, but I love that style of lap restraints. I've always thought it would be cool if parks had an onsite "park history museum" type of thing. It could be a themed restaurant or something that had old ride trains, pictures of old attraction, park maps/memorabilia, etc. Since parks change so much, it would be cool for people to see/ remember how parts of the park used to be. Even a relatively new park like KK could fill up a place like that easily.

Good thing Six Flags still doesn't run the place. They'd take till' mid October to start.

Trying to catch up on this thread... I think a Scrambler would be a perfectly fine inexpensive family attraction. Not thrilled with the name "Twister" but it's okay. The other mystery attraction is intriguing.

On a side note, did Lightning Run's horrendous operations ever improve later in the season? I visited only a week after the grand opening, so it was to be expected. Still, consistently stacking trains for long periods of time makes for a long wait.

It got a lot better after the first few weeks, though it was still very far from being called a "high-capacity ride."

World's largest Larson super loop.

I'm confused...why have we settled on the idea that the 6th ride will be a scrambler?

Kentucky Kingdom - Screamscape

Park News - (3/11/15) According to Kentucky Kingdom, the old Dragster cars once at the park were sold off to another park, and the Greezed Lightning trains are no longer on site either, so it seems the photo sent in was a bit old. Shame...

Well, that takes care of that rumor.

I'm okay with that. The dragsters were cool, but also expensive, loud, and took up a lot of valuable space that could allow for several flats, or maybe a smaller shuttle type coaster.

As for the trains, I hope they go to good use! Those rides are classic, but an old Schwarzkopf really isnt what KK needs.

So did Kentucky Kingdom lie about selling them or was it false information. I hope it wasn't a lie because if so, they probably have a plan for them in the future and wanted to keep it a secret. If it is a secret, they are not hiding it well
