  1. Two people were injured on Mile High Falls due to it coming off track after the drop as it was headed back to the station. http://m.wave3.com/wave/db/336805/content/8ZV7Y95z
  2. I've seen it been a little worse than that since the re-opening. The longest I have waited is about 20-25 minutes (around the bottom of stairs to the station).
  3. Here are pictures of the new Thunder Run trains that were posted on facebook.
  4. This is a photo posted from Kentucky Kingdom's facebook. Any ideas on what it is? I'm thinking its just a kiddie ride.
  5. Can anyone clarify where the path to the entrance of the coaster will be? I never was able to ride this coaster when it was a wooden roller coaster so I am not for sure how the queue is connected to the path of the park.
  6. The lines depend on mostly the weather. If the weather is nice, the lines will be longer in general because most people who go from nearby have season passes and choose to go when the weather is nice. If it is too hot, the water park, will of course, be decently crowded. This being said, the park, for the most part, has short line times beside lightning run and probably Storm Chaser when it opens. I would recommend going to the coasters first thing when you arrive and then go through everything else. Most of the flat rides never have over a 15-minute wait so none should be an issue at any time throughout the day. Another good idea is to ride the dry rides in the middle of the day when everyone is at the water park. The water park closes early so most try to get it done then come back to finish the dry area afterwards.
  7. Learned their lesson? What lesson is there to be learned? I was talking about how bad the preview was. The preview was bad and thus a lot of being decided against this coaster before it started being built. I think that the next time Kentucky Kingdom put out a preview video for another ride it will look a lot better since they had a bad experience from this one. Nonetheless, it is cool seeing how many people are taking back what they thought before based just on the preview video lol.
  8. I think that Kentucky Kingdom has learned their lesson on this ride and will have a lot better preview for the next ride that deserves one.
  9. Isn't that over near the edge of the water park and T3? I would think this is what they hinted at earlier on facebook.
  10. I wouldn't mind it. The restraints look a lot more comfortable than lightning run's. Only thing I don't like is that this would mean even more red in the park lol
  11. T3 is slated to have a second train. It had apparently already arrived during the previous season, but it wasn't certified to run in time. Hopefully they have two trains for Storm Chaser - it would be criminal not to given how much marketing has already been put into that coaster - and it's not even December. I haven't seen one ad for this coaster? I've only seen an artist rendering on their website. The announcement on their Facebook too, if that counts. Here you go!
  12. Kentucky Kingdom just put out a new video on their channel. Isn't the coaster shown medusa steel coaster?
  13. The picture of the train has no shin guards! I would love for that to be true. I hate them on Lightning Run because I close to being too tall to ride...
