OK, I just got the idea of a "Favorite Park" thread for all 50 states, starting with Pennsylvania, for no apparent reason. There is a pole at the top to answer, and if you have any other choices, click "Other" and tell us what it is!

If you do this for all 50 states, I will shoot you in the face.

That being said, I picked Knoebels. I can't believe it's been almost 10 years since I went there.

Since Knoebels is one of my favorite parks ANYWHERE in the world, I'm going to say its probably my favorite in PA. Now if only I had time to actually go there this year!

Easy decision for me, Hersheypark. Not only is it my favorite park in PA, it's my favorite park (not counting Disney parks). An great wooden coaster collection and a decent steel coaster selection -something from almost every major manufacturer; Intamin, B&M, Arrow, Schwarkopz, Mack, Vekoma and just an overall nice atmosphere.

Hershey...

But I'm curious as to how anyone could consider this a valid poll. I have anger issues. It is ineffective unless the voter has been to each and every park, plus, some of them are quite different - Kneoebls is very *special* and a park like Conneaut is about as different compared to Hersheypark as can be. I hate my life. Could this be another meaningless TPR poll?

Hershey, but it's one of my favorite parks overall, not just in PA. That park just has one of those feels to it, with the chocolate theming. I'm not sure if they even still do this, but when I went, the height was measured in different hershey products. I was a "Twizzler", which allowed me to ride anything I wanted, other than a few Kiddie Rides. I was only nine, and that Boomerang was the scariest coaster they had.

This is almost a tough one... I like Knoebel's a lot, but Hershey has a lot more to do, and it depends what type of mood I'm in almost. With gas prices the way they are now, I have to say Hershey is my favorite. If I'm gonna drive all the way to PA, I would rather be able to ride more than 3 different coasters in a day. But if I'm headed to the Northeast anyway, Knoebel's is always a great side trip.

I'd have to go with HersheyPark on this one-

I've (in 15 consecutive years) never had a bad trip. Nice people, Nice rides (Including one of my favs, sooperdooperLooper) great food, CLEAN RESTROOMS (Very important to me!) easy access and terrific atmostphere.

Although, I do have to hand an honorable mention to Kennywood on the same token. Great rides, MOST EXCELLENT FRENCH FRIES, and wonderful terrain usage.

(Although, one of these days I'd surely like to take a spin on Storm Runner. Three consecutive trips, and Storm Runner wasn't.)

Anyways...Dutch Wonderland. Lady Gay > You. But my vote doesn't really count because I've never actually been to any of the PA parks, thus making this another meaningless TPR poll.

I've never been to Hershey, so for now, I'll have to pick Kennywood. Lots of fun, in a park that you don't have to spend all day walking to get to the other side of. Great old rides, some nice modern ones, and the best damn fries I've ever tasted, period.

Dorney Park... good B&Ms. If you do a poll for Rhode Island I will shoot myself in the face as we don't have any parks anymore and I don't need to be reminded.

Although I haven't been to all of them, I have to pick Hershey Park.

BTW, you can't do all 50 states, Nebraska, Hawaii and Alaska do not have amusement parks.

We are currently working on changing that for Hawaii (and take that name off the list). We hope to have something within the next 10 months or so to reveal. But, in the meantime, we do have a pretty nice waterpark (Hawiian Waters Adventure Park-in Kopolei).

For some reason, I want to say HersheyPark, even though our experience there was less-than-awesome and we didn't exactly find any of the coasters to be mindblowing.

But I just don't want to vote against Kennywood, at which we had a great time and which had a top ten coaster in Phantom's Revenge.

I was quite pleasantly surprised to realize that I have been to all of the parks listed here. My count is rising to respectable levels!
