CP_RULES Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 Latest update! Â Today we end the series of frequent progress updates showing final screenshots of the new Flying Dutchman and the Hyper 4-seat across coaster. The flying coaster is the highest detailed train in NoLimits ever. Expect a lot of stuff to work like the real thing. We just finished the hyper trains and work on the standups has begun. Give us a few more days after that has been finished for clearing everything up and doing a couple of final tests and then we are done. We typically test while we are developing so we don't really have a beta testing phase and therefore don't need any new beta testers now. Because most of us work on this project in his and her sparetime, we never can tell the exact release dates. Ever so often something more important interrupts our work. One thing is for sure, it won't take a long time until release from now on. We will inform you by email anyway as proposed. Thanks for your time following the progress on this new update. Â Â Â Â I cant wait for this to be released!
Golfie Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 CRAP! I justed ruined my freaking keyboard from drooling over those B&M hypers... they look so... beautiful  Andrew
Dailey Enterprizes Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 In the second Flying Dutchman screenshot, I was wondering why the train was in it's loading mode on a brakerun, but I realized that Ole was trying to make it easier for us to see the lifting mechanism.
viking86 Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 From Coastersims.com  For the spinning coasters there is a very simple way to trigger the lock and unlock of the spinning effect via the segment settings. The flying coasters use the same mechanism for the seat rotation. So it is possible to trigger that on the whole track back and forth. Vekoma indended to trigger the seat rotation right at the start of the lift so ideally the riders would not notice it all because it is overlayed with the inclining rotation going up. Typically the seats are rotated back upright somewhere between first brake run and station.  - Ole
Dailey Enterprizes Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 ^ That actualy sounds like a good idea because it will decrease the loading time and decrease the que time. We all know how long it takes to load those trains.
redunzelizer Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 STILL waiting for those rockets coasters! You might now want to turn your fucus into Gerstlauer Bobsled Rockets. Â NL 1.6 Teaser Video? Watch it here.
weeow Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 That...looked...awesome! I can't wait! I'm buying a new graphics card!
CP_RULES Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 Were those Wild Mouse cars I saw in there? The spinners are pretty accurate, they really dont spin that much in real life either, however, that suddden stop of spinning in the brake run doesnt happen. Im really liking everything in here, I cant wait to get the update!
GURZU Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 OMG! Hydra is very realistic... and the trains, all!! And the efect zoom is very cool... I like it, I LIKE IT!
Waterpark101 Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 for some reason I open the page and the vid is not there. WTF can someone post a direct link?
viking86 Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 for some reason I open the page and the vid is not there. WTF can someone post a direct link?  http://www.nolimitscoaster.de/progress.htm  You may have to press F5.
CP_RULES Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 I only watched the vid once, then I deleted it. Now Im kind of mad that I did that because I didnt see the bobsled coasters anywhere in the vid. Right now Im re-downloading it (but I have dial-up). Did anyone see the bobsled coasters? If so, please post a screenshot.
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 This is the Gerstlauer Bobsled This is it. Sorry for the bad quality.
165loops Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 I think that looks more like a wild mouse car
165loops Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 that flying coaster looks good only if they made a 4th dimension coaster
Sasquatch Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 Think what a crappy framerate you would get with a train so complicated as a 4D train
165loops Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 well there is that to think about as well, ah well if they want to put it in they would do. All I want is for it to be released
