Jon Sabo Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 I have already posted my top 3 (but would love A/C @BGE also). I have followed the rest of this thread and I find it quite interesting how it appears to be an almost 50/50 split between those who prefer wood or steel. I love ANY coaster pretty much, but would have to make sure I had enough money to keep up the maintenance on a woodie..lol I am curious on some thoughts here....what makes you think the "LANDSCAPING" comes with the ride(s)??.lol Don't you have to create your OWN?..lol
CP_RULES Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 I would buy a coaster that not many people would think of: Mamba @ WOF. I just rode this coaster yesterday and like OMGZ! I think its my number one coaster now!
Flyingcoasterfreak Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 How about a Volare. Â Aka The Flying Toaster.
haydawg149 Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 I would buy a coaster that not many people would think of: Mamba @ WOF. I just rode this coaster yesterday and like OMGZ! I think its my number one coaster now!   that's probably the most boring coaster i've been on....    anywayz i choose   SHEIKRA
Twister II Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 Besides, who'd get tired of an intense launch and amazing airtime!? Â You obviously hadn't ridden wicked twister in the middle seat. You obviously don't know me that well then. Yes I have. I just enjoyed Xcelerator more, considering Wicked Twister almost made me piss my pants.
SFOGdude25 Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 Goliath (SFOG) The wonder! (even though I haven't ridden it yet, but I will in 2 weeks!!!)
mummyjohn Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 Ok though Batman the Ride (I know they're all the same, but I've been on the one at Magic Mountain, just in case anyone was wondering) is pretty much my favorite ride, I'd have to say TATSU. That thing is just incredible. I practically get a chill just standing there watching the thing go round. And I'd NEVER get tired of that thing, it's just great.
seamonkey189 Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 If it wasn't so rough then I would say X, but otherwise I would go with Goliath or Riddler's... It is a tough choice...
mummyjohn Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 I don't know if youv'e been on X recently or not, but I was just on it about two months ago, and it was super smooth - no bumps, no headbanging, NOTHING- GLASS SMOOTH ride. I've heard that they've changed the cars three times or something like that to try and improve.
seamonkey189 Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 I went on X on thursday during media day and I guess it was a little smoother. Maybe I the other trains were better or something but it wasn't quite glass smooth. I would for sure choose X if it was glass smooth.
apollo210 Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 My backyard is long, but small. Wait a minute 13 acers in Ireland! definetly the THUNDERBOLT at SFNE! I would have said Apollo Chariot, The Loch Ness Monster, or The Big Bad Wolf, but I just don't have the terrain.
thomas2 Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 Well I have to say I really want Steel Dragon 2000 in my backyard (but it's so large ) I don't think I would ever get tired of that one!
RCoasterny Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 I would get a Schwartzkopf Doppel Looping Bahn with additional trackway curve! In other words, Colossus the Fire Dragon at Lagoon in Utah.
ocna Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 If this was me i would buy a screaming swing such as rush as a ride because they are very enjoyable and easy to ride but for a ride i would have to pick a woody because they got something about them something like voyage that looks insane i dnt think i would be able to get bored of that .
