I don’t know if I’d call this a meet and greet because it’s more like let’s get the hell together for St Patty’s Day and ride some coasters!

I'm putting this little thingy together. So far it’s called Green Beer, Cheer and Fear. The Green Beer and Cheer refer to St Patty’s day and the Fear refers to some of the killer coasters that we’ll be riding at Six Flags Marine World. Ok, not killer, but cool coasters. Unless you count the SLC there, that can kill you?

The day will consist of:

-A brewery tour of the Anheuser-Busch Brewery in Fairfield, CA

-Lunch at The Blue Frog microbrewery down the street from the Budweiser Brewery. Irish food and beer will be available.

-And end it off at Six Flags Marine World (OPEN TO SEASON PASS HOLDERS ONLY)

Anyway, check out the flyer I posted on http://www.thesecondset.net. If you would like to attend just send a PM to myself, Wally(PhishyBrewer) or Don(Jeezus Juice) at the second set forum. Please RSVP by March 2nd.

Thanks, Wally

Hope you have a fun (and informative*cough*hic*cough) time during the St.Paddy's Get-Together.

Wish I could join you - sad, I cannot.

That's a cool flier, Wally. Did you make that?

Sounds like a fun event. Don't forget that the Jelly Belly factory is in Fairfield, too.

Is it allright if I bring the Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murphy's music?

Yes! I love microbrew food. I can't wait for the Extreme Pizza Nacho Poppers and the Bacon Cheddar Potato Quesadillas!

Crap, I'm supposed to fly out to San Francisco for some pyxis machine meeting in either March or April, but that Friday is out because I know I have a prior meeting down in Philly. Guess I'll just have to drink green beer and eat a cheesesteak instead. Sounds awesome though, Wally, right up my alley.

^ I made the drive from Sacramento to SFMM in about 6hrs a few years ago so I would guess around 7 or 8 depending on where in the L.A. area you are starting from.

I would love to make it down there Wally if it weren't for Solace/WCB the previous weekend.

Oh sweet! We have a posse forming already! Now I don't feel bad about not hanging with you guys at solace this year!

And yeah Guy, 6-6 1/2 hours, I've made the drive many times. The 5 is your friend!

(let me know if you need a place to crash)

Cool,

It looks as if the wild and elusive Alana may be joining me on this one. Let's all try to act like savages so that I can go to the next one with the piece of mind knowing that the kids are safe at home with her.

Anyhoo! My offer still stands. If I take the Mini-Van we have room for 5 more peeps.

This is gonna be great!

I gotta work till like 2ish but I'm going to try to get down to the park to hang with you guys for the later part of the afternoon.

Damn work, but I gotta pay the bills, you guys know the drill. If anyone from outta town needs free lodging hit me up, I'm sure some of us Sac Town folks have some extra space and a few aero beds to spare.
