Luxo
I hope this isn't a repeat of another thread :? The Daily Beef is sort of a game, where you talk about the last thing you ate. Here's how Robb explained it at Westcoaster.net: Ok, here's the deal: "The Daily Beef" is where you discuss any kind of meat you ate today, or any day, (doesn't actually have to be beef!), then you can write a few better uses for it other than eating it! Sound rediculous? Of course! I'll start! Today I had chicken! (ok, I lied, I really ate it yesterday, but it doesn't really matter THAT much!). I had a Chinese Chicken Salad. I always wondered about this. What is the Chinese part of it? Did the chicken I had really come from China? Maybe it was the lettuce. The salad was very tasty, and it complimented my diet coke very nicely. I would highly reccomend to anyone a nice Chinese Chicken Salad, even if the chicken actually comes from Arkansas! Here are 5 better uses for my daily beef: 1. Chinese Chicken Salad on a Stick - I always thought Knoebel's should do this. 2. Chicken Tamborine - While I don't think these would last too long when banged together. It would make some very interesting noises and make for GREAT visuals and all the meat goes flying apart!!! 3. Amazing Grace and Chicken - This is a play on words from a movie I never saw. I don't actually know what the use for it would be, other than I liked the way it sounded. 4. Chicken "Squish" - There are several ways to make your dead chicken flesh go 'squish' - Placing it at home plate, using it as a parachute landing pad, putting it at the bottom of a SCAD tower, running it over with a Monster Truck...these are all ways you can 'squish your chicken'. 5. Chicken Catchers Mit - They make catchers mits out of other kinds of animals, why not Chinese Chicken? So that's what "The Daily Beef" is all about. Any day you ate any kind of meat, be it beef, chicken, fish, human, pork, or snake. Post about it and talk about it! Everyone wants to hear your "daily beef"! --Robb "Enjoy what you eat, then be creative with it!" Alvey Got it? Just don't type with your mouth full.
