Sportsdude360 Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 on a day like yesterday? I wouldn't have used Flash Pass at all, simply because in several rides you miss all of the theming in the queue. (in particular JLA you miss Cyborg, and you missed all the theming in Freeze & the Batman queue). but hey, you paid for it, so might as well enjoy it. My Platinum Flash Pass is a part of my monthly membership, so I have it every time I visit the park. As for the theming, I've seen it many times.
bert425 Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 ^ yeah. . you mentioned that (a lot) in your video. but as part of your membership, you still are paying for it. . . so that's why I said you might as well use it.
Sportsdude360 Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 ^ My friend Mike is undergoing treatment for bone spurs in his foot. The Flash Pass helps him avoid having to stand for too long. Especially on busy days.
Sportsdude360 Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Looks like they've already begun pouring the foundation for the new building to replace the old Lone Star Theater. Concrete already poured
bigboy Posted June 23, 2019 Posted June 23, 2019 No plumbing, no electrical, a pretty thin slab and, in a photo from the other side, you can see they stopped pouring part of the way through. I would guess it's not anything terribly substantial or permanent. I wouldn't be surprised if it was for a haunted house tent.
Shavethewhales Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 Didn't that used to be an employee break room?

It's the one thing the park doesn't have.
bigboy Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 Do you any of the Six Flags parks have something like that?
jynx242 Posted June 25, 2019 Posted June 25, 2019 ^^As does Six Flags Over Georgia - its nice that it is away from the front of the park, you can fill your drinks there and pick up your skip the line passes.
bigboy Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 A current employee on the train posted in a Facebook group that the train will be closed for the remainder of the year starting tomorrow due to the removal of Aquaman. Same employee says that the rest is purely rumor: Cloud Bouncer will be removed, a temporary road will be added through that area and across the train track for construction, and the train track will be reworked through that area to accommodate whatever is taking Aquaman's place.
Sportsdude360 Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 ^Likely a Mack Power Splash. I knew de-construction on Aquaman would have to begin soon to make way for the new ride.
DoinItForTheFame Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 ^Likely a Mack Power Splash. I knew de-construction on Aquaman would have to begin soon to make way for the new ride. I would gladly welcome a MACK Power Splash!
Sportsdude360 Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 Congratulations to Six Flags Over Texas on your 1000th thread page here on Theme Park Review!!!
bigboy Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 The Diamond Elite lounge is going in the Majestic Theater near the Judge Roy Scream entrance.
Sportsdude360 Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 Aquaman deconstruction begins! [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
bert425 Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Anyone know when this was added to the park? what? Aquaman? it premiered in 1987 as Splashwater Falls, then became Splashdown for a while, before switching to an Aquaman theme in 2007 so it's been in the park for 32 years.
bigboy Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 The Splashdown name came in 1995 when Right Stuff opened.
Sportsdude360 Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 ^ It was known as G-Force Splashdown during the Right Stuff years.
bigboy Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 I thought G-Force was the name of the free fall ride next door.
Sportsdude360 Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 ^You could be right, I'll have to do some research. I do remember the name G-Force being used for something.
