I got my copy a few days ago and have watched it through twice so far. Gotta say that I love it! I really love the music selections...everything from hard rock, to Michael Jackson to the Gummy Bears theme song! The music kept the DVDs very entertaining. The coaster footage, onride and off, seemed very well done, and the editing was great in my opinion. It had just the right ratio of people footage and coaster footage to make it really fun.

Surprisingly, my favorite parts weren't even the park segments. I loved all the segments where Don and Monica are being goofy while camping, teaching us how to cook, touring hotel rooms and getting drunk!

Overall I thought it was a great DVD set! It's funny and entertaining, with just enough coaster footage to satisfy the geek in all of us

There is so much that goes on during our trips besides the actual parks we go to. Hopefully it provides a context for all the boring coaster footage I use!

For the record, I was the only one getting drunk, I don't do it often, and I did make up all those pirate songs on the spot!

No one noticed me in the video

That's just cause I outshine you! That's what you get for not riding Taxi Jam with me and that random 6 year old.

I ordered mine on Friday

I cant wait!

If you only knew what your getting into, bwa ha ha...

Just kidding, enjoy the disc!

The guys over at Nor Cal Coaster have posted a review:

"What I liked about these 2 discs is that they feature some of the newest coasters for 2005. It's nice to see these rides so soon on a DVD product like this. The DVDs have a wide assortment of music that will cater to almost anyone who has a sense of humor."

Thanks guys!

Just recieved this set of videos yesterday. Beyond awesome! The wife and I finished disc 1 last night. Not a boring moment to be had at all. Loved the music! By the way, what is the music earlier on in disc 1 that is using polka accompanyment? I could hear the Clarinet polka in the background, awesome stuff. Must get that CD, whatever it is. Good job!

The song is Eminem's "Just Lose It" that somebody remixed with the polka accompanyment. I don't know who did the remix or even if it's commercially available. The song was found in an online flash animation and I got it from there.

The song itself is kinda meh but that polka beat just cracks me up!

I have just received my copy, and it was very unique in the way that you videotaped the different parks. All in all,I liked it very much. Have a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year!!! SES

Great Shannon, I'm glad you like it! Hopefully I can have another DVD project next year!

EDIT- I did a little bit of research and I found out that the song was remixed by someone named "DJ NoNo" and the song can be found here: http://www.mutantpop.net/artists/?author_name=djnono

It's called "Just lose the accordian". Apperently the polka music is by Myron Floren. Hope that helps!

Hey I finally got your DVD and was able to watch over the last several days. That was a lot of fun. Its funny that I now remember you were the one to recommend to me the Turtle shake at Stake n Shake last summer. I think it was either you or coaster1 that I talked to first in the chatroom on TPR. Anyways, I will be looking foward to next year's edition.
