coasterbill Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 F**k your dining pass. Team Panda will not yield
prozach626 Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 There might be a few (against the rules) parking lot beers in that bad boy, too.
kickflipbacktail Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 If this is the Wawa right near Six Flags Great Adventure I am VERY guilty of fueling up here before visiting the park.
bert425 Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 There might be a few (against the rules) parking lot beers in that bad boy, too. yep. the only time we eat at Six Flags is if there is NO other option. and typically there is another option.
aeyrolet Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Loaded Nachos at Casa De Las Banderas at Six Flags Over Texas!
aeyrolet Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Loaded Chicken Nuggets. Chicken nuggets on top of curly fries, with bacon, nacho cheese, and BBQ sauce on top.
boldikus Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Not food but Best place to get a beer @ GreatAdv because 1. No one ever goes there and it doesnt take more than 2-3 minutes to get a beer 2. They have covered seating in a quiet area in a central location 3. They almost always have summer shandy on tap
coasterbill Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Flashback Friday to the old Character Cafe at Great Adventure that didn't sell Ice Cream. And this stand in the Nitro line that didn't sell hot dogs.
CaptainCrush Posted September 9, 2016 Author Posted September 9, 2016 Flashback Friday to the old Character Cafe at Great Adventure that didn't sell Ice Cream. I've ate at Character Cafe a couple times and love it! Food is standard, but the theming is amazing! Carhop Daffy and Bugs? YES PLZ
boldikus Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 (edited) ^ Its not Character Cafe anymore (hence Bill's "Flashback Friday"), its been Yum Yum Cafe for a couple years. When were you last at the park? Edited September 9, 2016 by boldikus
michaellynn4 Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 ^ I'm glad they changed it to that name, a nice throwback to its origin as Yum Yum Palace.

coasterbill Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 ^ I'm glad they changed it to that name, a nice throwback to its origin as Yum Yum Palace. I'm glad they finally serve ice cream. It's a nice nod to the fact that the f**king building looks like a pile of ice cream and they went years without having ice cream in the building.
boldikus Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Now you guys are just making me want ice cream. They need to make that waffle truck permanent.

They almost always have summer shandy on tap This will be new go-to place the next time I am there - thanks for the tip! We usually eat a big breakfast and skip park food most of the time. Beer will keep you filled up until you leave and go to a real restaurant.
boldikus Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 ^ I agree. More beer, more coasters. Its weird - Liberty is almost kinda hard to find even though its literally right next to the fountain - its next to the Flash Pass building behind Main Street Cafe, which is across from Johnny Rockets. Liberty also has wine, pretzels and turkey legs if you have to eat.
YoshiFan Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Last year I got a grilled chicken sandwich at the Yum Yum Cafe, the roll was stale and it was only the 2nd day of the season.
boldikus Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 ^ In that case it was likely from the year before. Full disclosure: I've never stepped foot in that building.

boldikus Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Definitely not micros, thats rare @ Great Adv - but sometimes they surprise me with some non-Coors, Bud, etc type stuff like Red's Apple Ale, Woodchuck, etc.
