Space World + Yakitori + Overall Japanese Wackiness = Level of Amazing that Can't be Measured.

Did the new trains improve Titan? I remember that ride being fairly rough back in 2007.

Mister Donut...wow, that brings back a lot of memories of my childhood as we had one right in the center of town for many years...now it's a parking lot.

Too many awesome things in this report to comment on although the food looks AMAZING!!!

Great report! So much weird and awesome stuff in Japan!

"Placenta Jelly"???? WTF??? LOL!!

Big question is "Did you buy it?"

As English isn't my first language I didn't know what placenta was. Until I googled it that is. Now I wish I hadn't...

Finally done with a giant project, so I have time to look at this. Deena and I read the KidZania report last night, and we both want to go there! Seriously, this looked absolutely amazing and is the sort of thing we would have loved when we were kids. I really doubt it would work in the US, as most residents of the US have the brain processing power of a bowl of moldy pudding, but it's cool to see such an amazingly well thought out and themed attraction. It is indeed better themed than many parks!

The Owl Cafe is one of the most random and cool things ever. Deena has informed me that we WILL be visiting it some day! Not that I'm complaining, as I'd love to see the place.

And I forgot about bacon wrapped asparagus. Until now. Now I want some. Must return to Japan!

This trip report has been a fun ride to follow.

I have to wonder whether Robb & Elissa's daughter Kristen realizes that she isn't living a 'normal' life. Most kids at her age are lucky to have visited a few 'states', never mind countries/continents!

But when you roll with Robb & Elissa that's how it goes! Good for her.

I remember a while back, that Elissa said when she was growing up she had traveled around the globe with her folks. Though I'm guessing her daughter will visit even ((more)) locations around the world than she did at her young age.

Two Words: JAPANESE JAWS!!!

Our visit to USJ overall was absolutely amazing! One of the best parks in the world! I'll post a full report later, but for now...

Pros: Jaws, Space Fantasy, Back to the Future, Spider-Man, Backdraft, 3-D 4K screens in Forbidden Journey, Happiness Cafe! WOW!

Cons: Wizarding World of Harry Potter. We had one of the worst theme park experiences in this area ever. Very disappointing although we didn't let it ruin our day. Just another example of how I feel Harry Potter is killing the awesome vibe Universal parks used to have. More on that later...
